I love these threads - they give me lots of ideas.

We are having keema curry made with a Patak's madras spice pot (might be quite hot), onion, garlic, beef mince, tomatoes, peas, spinach and a stray carrot. With basmati rice and poppadums and minty raita.

What have you had / are going to have?

Last night we had roast chicken, green beans, broccoli, and a couple of pouches of those tomato flavoured grains that you microwave.

Minted lamb chops with roast potatoes and roasted sprouts, steamed runner beans and gravy tonight. Comforting and filling.

Child free tonight so mostly wine and whatever is in the freezer that is beige and made entirely of carbs.

I have some space raider potato shaped pickled onion flavour things I might have on a sandwich with some salad cream.

On cheap white bread with butter obviously.

Or a bacon grill sandwich Grin

Home made bang bang chicken from a Good Food recipe. Delicious!

APurpleSquirrel · 05/04/2022 18:55

Tonight, once the kids are in bed, we'll be having Fried Cabbage, bacon & potatoes. Quite a nice comfort food & uses up the cabbage & a leek from the veg box.

Pad Thai made by teen - it was yum.

DockOTheBay · 05/04/2022 19:00

Duck breast and hoisin noodles and stir fried veg (peppers, asparagus, onion, carrot)

We wouldn't usually have duck midweek but it was reduced 50% off in sainsburys 😁

Dh is out tonight so I'm secretly hoping he eats whilst he is out so I don't have to cook. I've just had some of the dcs leftovers so that will do me

sophienelisse · 05/04/2022 19:45

My DH has ordered an Indian I love him so much

Redbluelellow · 05/04/2022 19:48

Last night was a lentil burger with roasted chickpea and salsa wrap, salad, cous cous and sweet potato wedges - gorgeous!
Tonight will be a frozen pizza with veg added on top as in a rush tonight plus football on

A580Hojas · 05/04/2022 21:14

Yesterday: marmite and peanut butter sandwich on low-carb bread
Today: marmite and peanut butter sandwich on low-carb bread. And a baby-bel.

We had chicken breast, mash and veg last night. Mayflower curry with vegetable spring rolls tonight is always an easy favourite. Probably a takeaway tomorrow as I cba Grin

Tonight is chili-con-carne, my Mum's recipe - maybe not very authentic, but there'd be a riot if I did a different recipe! - with rice, peas and carrots.

SprayedWithDettol · 07/04/2022 11:57

I’m making this with butternut squash and aubergine.
