Actually it makes a change from all the other houses in London their insipid neutral palace. Its a beautiful house and I do like the area but goodness me its very stripey and loud. I bet the kids love it 😃www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/121573241#/?channel=RES_BUY

Ps I cant afford this house or any house or flat in London. Im just daydreaming and looking for decorating inspiration.

Its not so much the colour as the patterns. You couldn't come home drunk, thats for sure. Peaceful looking garden though.

Ruralbliss · 31/03/2022 13:29

Thanks for sharing. My teens will love seeing this and demand that we immediately decorate our new home in a similar style...

Janfebmar · 31/03/2022 13:33

Wow 2.8 mill for that? It's hideous. It would give me a headache.

Polecat03 · 31/03/2022 13:36

Very pop art, does make a change though.

Firesidefox · 31/03/2022 13:36

Love this! Thank you for sharing. I mean, I don't love it but I enjoyed seeing the pictures. I bet it's some sort of celeb.

TheCanyon · 31/03/2022 13:37

The front door/garage photo was enough. It's horrendous.

Lunaballoon · 31/03/2022 13:37

Lovely garden. Interior decor 😱

EachandEveryone · 31/03/2022 13:39

The garden is gorgeous

I don’t mind colour, but those op art stripes would trigger my epilepsy.

seashaken · 31/03/2022 13:44

That chair in the entrance hall ... well ...

TortugaRumCakeQueen · 31/03/2022 13:46

£2.8M WTF. You would get a huge MANSION for that kind of money where I live, with acres and acres of land. London prices are insane!!

StillMedusa · 31/03/2022 13:48

I rather like it!

Brownlongearedbat · 31/03/2022 13:49

But is that garden really gorgeous? Looks like a massive expense of nasty fake grass to me. I can understand (possibly) having fake grass for a small patch, but personally I think it's a travesty to cover such a large area with unrecyclable plastic.

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 31/03/2022 13:53

I think almost all if it will move with the current owners or be easy to paint over. I'd have to change that pink kitchen counter, but tbh if I could afford to spend that much on a house I could afford to redecorate too.

ShowOfHands · 31/03/2022 13:57

It's not really colourful though. Just a lot of black/white/grey with "pop of fucking pink" taken to the extreme. And lots of clashing patterns.

Slushynana · 31/03/2022 14:00

This is what you can buy near me for 1 million less! I can’t believe the prices down south www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/121733594#/?channel=RES_BUY

Firesidefox · 31/03/2022 14:01

Also it's literally next to the A1. The pollution must be horrendous.

SprayedWithDettol · 31/03/2022 14:03

It’s an 80’s nightmare.

Seleniummillenium · 31/03/2022 14:04

Absolutely hideous. And only an idiot would pay nearly 3 million for a semi.

DockOTheBay · 31/03/2022 14:06

It's London isn't it? Even the rest of "down south" is much cheaper than London prices. The six bedroom house in the OP would probably be around 1 million in my area.

TheLovleyChebbyMcGee · 31/03/2022 14:09

I love it!

Laiste · 31/03/2022 14:09

Once you took out the furniture there wouldn't be much actual colour left.

The bath is pink, and the worktop is pink. There's a stripy floor and a couple of stripy feature walls but apart from that it's all white walls and a few black tiles in the bathroom.

Easier than taking on a house full of chintz and bloody magnolia woodchip IMO.

Whatever00 · 31/03/2022 14:09

Love it

LesLavandes · 31/03/2022 14:09

The price for a semi.... yikes😂

Octomore · 31/03/2022 14:11

I agree with pp - that's not a particularly colourful house, but it's very full-on in terms of the patterns
