Actually it makes a change from all the other houses in London their insipid neutral palace. Its a beautiful house and I do like the area but goodness me its very stripey and loud. I bet the kids love it 😃www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/121573241#/?channel=RES_BUY

Ps I cant afford this house or any house or flat in London. Im just daydreaming and looking for decorating inspiration.

It's lovely , very modern and bright
I couldn't live with those lip pictures though

Forgottenmypasswordagain · 01/04/2022 20:04

@MadeInChorley

I don’t mind colour, but those op art stripes would trigger my epilepsy.
I feel the same.
DoreenWinkings · 02/04/2022 22:50

Why have they got two massive dining room tables within mere feet of each other??

Misses point.

EachandEveryone · 03/04/2022 15:33

I imagine they do alot of entertaining. Its clearly the kind of house school friends would want to come to for tea. I imagine they have lots of children running around. I do love the bathroom.

I managed to find the lips tablecloth on Amazon...it was delivered this morning

EachandEveryone · 03/04/2022 15:59

And does it liven your kitchen up?

@TortugaRumCakeQueen

£2.8M WTF. You would get a huge MANSION for that kind of money where I live, with acres and acres of land. London prices are insane!!
I agree. Not worth that sort of £ at all!

this is what 2.5mil buys you in Scotland

VeryMuchFlaggingMinty · 03/04/2022 16:57

It will liven up my dining area as I have a black wall.

My decor is a (very) toned down version of that house...downstairs is predominantly black, red, grey and white, but solid colours rather than patterns apart from one feature wall and generally a cosier vibe. Still lots of graphic/pop art and a couple of neon lights!

trulyconfuseddotcom · 03/04/2022 17:57

Meanwhile, in similar price ranges in stunning Scotland: www.countrylife.co.uk/property/spectacular-scottish-castles-and-estates-for-sale-71895

Wrongkindofovercoat · 03/04/2022 18:06

@trulyconfuseddotcom I have now added a fernery to my lottery win wish list Wink

Clockstooforward · 03/04/2022 18:09

I really like it apart from the stripey room!

trulyconfuseddotcom · 03/04/2022 18:10

@Wrongkindofovercoat You mean you don't already have one? The shame!

Wrongkindofovercoat · 03/04/2022 18:21

@trulyconfuseddotcom the downstairs loo has a patch of damp/mildew stuff, if I put the heating on and shove a pot plant in there and squint, it could almost be one Grin

sophienelisse · 03/04/2022 18:39

£2.8 million though. Never mind the actual Colour scheme. £2.8 million for a semi detached.

What the actual fuck.

£2.8 actual million??

I can't get over that.

springtimeishereagain · 03/04/2022 18:45

I really like it, apart from all the stripes in the lounge - they're too much. I love the pink worktop and kitchen lights, and the fab bath! The other rooms are pretty plain if you take away the artwork and the bed linen.

Gorgeous garden. Lots of potential.

But the price... it sold for £576k in 2020. What an increase since then!!

Stevie6 · 03/04/2022 19:09

Love it, would take that over a grey house any day

Calandor · 03/04/2022 21:02

I wouldn't want it but it's very cool and fun. Fantastically done.

lljkk · 03/04/2022 21:13

Once owner removed THEIR STUFF (furniture etc) then the house wouldn't be so striking. Except the kitchen. I'm not sure how well I'd live with that worktop.
