And are on the Price Cap rate - as rates go up on 1st April and you want to ensure that your supplier knows how much of your energy was used before and after the price cap changes.

Martin Lewis recommends taking a photo if you have a smart meter in case of dispute.

I usually do this as standard when getting FiT.

Has anyone tried to add meter readings for Bulb? Website is “having a power nap”. Eek!!

Shell is busy - but they have a separate form to submit readings if you want.

Eon next app told me it was my first gas reading in 988 days - oops! Then told me my reading for electric couldn't be right because it was extremely low. It was definitely right! Hoping the huge amount they've been charging me with new bills sometimes only 10 or 20 days after the previous bill means I've vastly over paid

Good idea ! Emails go to DH so will ask him.

I got through to edf via website just now. I had given meter readings a week ago, though. I entered the electricity reading and got an instant notification my direct debit had gone up by another £10. Seriously, we've hardly used any electricity last week. Am not going to update my gas meter reading now. I can't afford to pay any more direct debit.

Can you not fix your own DD on line, in your account ?

I couldn't get on to EDF at all yesterday on their website or app.

I went on today, and they have a link to a form on their front page to submit meter readings for yesterday. Didn't want to put my readings in for todays date, so glad they've done something for those who couldn't get on.

I've already increased my direct debit to hopefully bear some of the increase when it happens.
