If you've not got a Smart Meter.

And are on the Price Cap rate - as rates go up on 1st April and you want to ensure that your supplier knows how much of your energy was used before and after the price cap changes.

I am sure it will be trending on Twitter tomorrow. #meterreadingday

I have a Smart Meter so don't think i need to do it.

Tried to submit on Bulb then got can't accept reading do it tomorrow but then got email saying thanks for the readings, who knows

Yeah, my price change thing from Octopus said their prices change on 2nd April
They emailed a few weeks back saying regrettably blah blah blah, and that they would be in touch to discuss (i.e. tell me) about the price increases. But they haven't.

They wanted to double my mum's admittedly very modest and reasonable monthly payment. Somehow she managed to say "No I'm not paying that, I'm paying this."

I have no idea how she does it.

No. Its only for those on the standard variable tariff

I’m glad that I did mine yesterday (because I’m so forgetful), Twitter is full of people saying both the website and app for edf aren’t working today.

British Gas is down and I just got a text which may or may not be them about submitting meter readings, I will probably end up doing mine tomorrow, doubt it will make much difference

Just managed to access my account and it’s doubled Sad luckily it’s not as much as some I’ve seen but with the oil prices on top it’s ridiculous.

Got through to EDF on the app and submitted gas and electricity readings.
Had to try twice as website busy, but you can get it done.

@Usingit I just got a British Gas text too. I’ve had these texts from them before so I do think it’s genuine. Probably trying to avoid a website meltdown by getting customers to text instead

I haven't been able to view my British Gas account since the 16th February. No idea what I've used. Checked online and it seems it's a problem for many people.

It's almost suspicious.
