I know this has been done before, but let's have a nice cheerful thread about the little purchase that thinks it's a giant. I have just bought a really cute hob kettle that makes me happy when it whistles Grin. I swear the tea tastes nicer too.

A badge saying "proud to be everything the Conservatives hate" for £2.70 including postage. It makes me feel better every time I wear it.

I could do with one of those to go with my "Don't blame me, I voted Remain" badge!*

I have to get these!!

My brother bought me a big red cast iron pot for Christmas. I love doing a big casserole or chilli and bringing it to the table. Grin

I used to have nice eyebrows that never needed anything beyond a bit of plucking, but they greyed and thinned. What feels like 2942785 million high end products and treatments later, I found this. Subtle but it works brilliantly (and is so cheap)

I'm so glad I read your post. Straight to Amazon and bought myself one.

Thank you!

☺️

My £5 Costa cocoa powder shaker and coffee bean template - every morning I feel like a barista and my cappuccino looks and tastes amazing 🤩.

@AchillesLastStand.. ah thanks Smile I would love guinea pigs and so would DS. Maybe the next step is to get a couple. The only thing is our house is tiny and I would be worried about keeping a hutch outdoors in winter.

Meet Bruni. He's my favourite Lego set. Lego isn't a cheap hobby but he was less than £10 and is adorable (Its the salamander from Frozen)

Oh I have many:
My little table hoover - I have crumby children and it means that I can use my grown up table cloth from h and m (another smiling moment)

An Anthropologie mug!
Ooohhh I've got one of these too. I use it for work and nobody is allowed to borrow it.

I had/have the same problem and that looks good. Three months ago I started putting castor oil on my eyebrows and it is amazing how they have grown back, still very grey so need some colour but at least they are there.

A little silver turtle shaped snuff box.
I bought him in a charity shop the day a friend died. I took in a bag of outgrown children's clothes and he was there in a little glass cabinet by the counter. He lived in my coat pocket for a couple of years and I would hold him as I walked to work. He’s little on my desk since I’ve been wfh. He’s my talisman who reminds me of my wonderful friend, who always knew what to to about anything (although not brain tumours it turns out Sad).

Oh I've been debating if I should get one of those. You might have made my mind up.
SarahBellam · 20/03/2022 09:49

Turkish bath towels - so much lighter and manoeuvrable than normal bath towels and dry so much quicker.

This iridescent lamp shade from Next. It’s at the top of my stairs and when the light is on it fills the whole stairwell with rainbow light

Our tiny Diddy Kampa heater, we bought it for camping, but have been using it at home, heats the room up lovely with the door closed and haven't needed to put the heating on, low cost energy wise too :) it's amazing when we camp, we sit round in a circle on the chairs with a blanket over our legs, and that on the edge, and it's like sitting in a warm bath.

A few years ago, I bought 3 beautiful storage jars from TKMax - only £3.99 each. Blown glass, square shaped with a rustic, imperfect heart shape blown into the front of the jar, with a metal screw top. Made in India. There were tons there at the time and I should have bought more.

They store my sugar, tea and coffee and I absolutely adore them. I've threatened my heavy handed lot with extreme violence if they're not careful with them.

I scoured every TK Max here within a 50 mile radius to try and collect some more since, but no more seem to exist. Sad

I got a fabric sleeping that zips out to a blanket on sale from Anorak. One side is while with black polka dots and one is yellow with leopards on it. Sitting on the sofa in it is my favourite thing.

Fleur405 · 20/03/2022 10:11

Sleeping bag that should say.
