I know this has been done before, but let's have a nice cheerful thread about the little purchase that thinks it's a giant. I have just bought a really cute hob kettle that makes me happy when it whistles . I swear the tea tastes nicer too.

A nest box for blue tits. I love it!

I put it up yesterday and within half an hour they were loads having a look. Very funny to watch them taking turns, inspecting everything, looking at the roof, you can just see a little face peeping out in second pic, so cute.

@k1233 your nails are impressive. Please tell me which polish you use as I feel lucky if I get a full 24 hours without chipping .

I have bought about 8 of these over the years, unfortunately now discontinued. I bought the first one nearly nine years ago, and my last one in a seconds shop about two years ago and despite having been through the dishwasher a million times you can't tell which is the oldest - they've lasted brilliantly and still make me feel so happy.

I buy a wooden peep from a lady on instagram (silverypaws) each season. They're very cute little painted ladies with beautiful details. I have 3 now and they live on my bedside table bringing me joy.
She's doing Ukrainian ladies at the moment to raise money and they're beautiful.
DH does not get it at all but they're mine!

I have one of the colour changing egg boiling doohickies. I have discovered that if, like me, you keep your eggs in the fridge then you need to keep the doohicky in there too so they go in the water at the same temperature. Saved me from some undercooked eggs!

My current small purchase is unexciting, it's a folding USB plug I can keep in my purse. My younger child was in hospital last weekend as he tried to find out if he was coin operated. Turns out that no, he's not and a 2p coin will get stuck if you're only 7. So we had a day and a half of monitoring before it was hoiked out. I had a charging cable in my purse, but no plug and the hospital didn't have one I could borrow so my phone was on battery saving mode for most of the time as it was nearly dying.
Now I have a lead and a plug. Given the general idiocy of my children, the chances of a hospital stay with one of them in the future is pretty high. No more worrying that my phone will die!

Love it! Being a window twitcher, it doesn't look that securely put on if it's draped.on a nail, which just means strong winds or cats could dislodge it, if there's any chance of making it secure to avoid tragedy :)

Without doubt my electric throw. I couldn't love it more than I do.
