Mumsnet buzzwords you can’t stand *light hearted*

There are a few for me that set my teeth on edge.

‘Pop’ - my number one. My mortal enemy of MN words. Just ‘pop’ a plaster on it. I might ‘pop’ some money into a savings account. Why don’t you ‘pop’ to the GP for your Diet Coke addiction. No idea why it sets me off in such a way.

‘Flourish’ - enough said

There must be more of you out there. Are there any words you can’t stand that are MN buzzwords?

Again just to stress this is light hearted and I do not hold personal grudges against users that use these words 🤣

'Naice' and 'Boils my piss' are definitely up there. Along with 'give your head a wobble'.
Also hate when someone tells their long life story in a post and then someone else copies and pastes the whole thing before replying.

Or when people cross out half their post. Just don't post that bit then!

Oh yes, massive salad. I used to work with someone who used to bring a massive salad to work, and it had massive amounts of eg potato salad, and dressing, and cheese. Enough for a family. The owner of the salad was also massive.

What's wrong with vulva?!

Many MNetters get irrationally upset if anyone points out that vulva and vagina are not actually the same thing.

Others get upset that there are women who prefer to call their vulva their vulva rather than their minnie, twinkie or foof.
