Report in the Guardian that she has had her passport returned and that a negotiating team are in place.

Too early for celebrations but I have got my fingers crossed behind my back.

The news over the last few weeks has been so bleak I’m really struggling not to cry tears of joy at this.

I hope she’s well and given time to adjust to life with her daughter and husband again before the inevitable media bombardment.

I cried when I heard the news and it was a shock to hear something positive as headline news.

However much as I am relieved and happy that she is on her way home I feel so sad for the years she has missed with her family, particularly her daughter. I hope they have support and privacy to readjust once she is home.

Is that another plane accompanying her flight? No idea what I’m looking at really.

I hope she gets a lot of support - it's a long journey for them all to get over this. So brilliant though

It's just another plane overlapping hers at the moment. They wont be in the exact same spot or altitude but the flight tracker planes are not to scale with the world!

@Thoosa the red one is the one Nazanin is on. It's an Oman RAF gulfstream jet. The one next to it (yellow) is the FlyDubai from Baku to Dubai. They are just following the same route.

So we should be able to track her flight home too? I’m quite close to BN - will be looking up at her flight if it goes overhead

So now can we make it illegal for people to go to Iran? If they take people for political ransom every UK citizen who goes there is a potential 100 million pounds to get out again.

This happened before then she was taken back to jail. She is not free until she comes through custom control in the UK.

Fingers crossed- she appears to be on a flight to the U.K.
