Report in the Guardian that she has had her passport returned and that a negotiating team are in place.

Too early for celebrations but I have got my fingers crossed behind my back.

I'm tearing up! Surprised at myself but I guess it's just that there is some good news after the unrelenting awfulness of the news in the past few weeks.

Oh, that's a fabulous picture. Such an amazing relief for her to be actually on her way and out of the control of the Iranian govt.

Tulip Siddiq is being interviewed on BBC Radio 4 right now. Also Nazanin's sister-in-law, Rebecca Ratcliffe. Well worth a listen on BBC Sounds thingy.

I must say, I'm very impressed by Tulip Siddiq.

I think so too. Tulip Siddiq worked tirelessly to secure her freedom. Question after question in the HOC, meeting after meeting, lots of support for the family, even when she was on maternity leave herself. We should all be so lucky to have an MP like her.

If BJ can do any good at all bringing people home on his plane, maybe he could turn his attention to Raif Badawi - not a victim of BJ or the blundering Gvt, or anything to do with the UK, but a man imprisoned for 10 years and flogged for a blog post by the brutal Saudi regime with whom BJ consorts, and although now freed at the end of his sentence is apparently subject to a 10 year travel ban that will keep him from his wife and 3 children given refuge in Canada.

She spent the last year under house arrest at her parent's home. She wasnt in an Iranian jail for the last year. She should be OK.

I hope when she lands back in the UK she and her family are given the time and peace they will need to process what they have all been through.
