I agree re: Covid. My Mom wanted to go to Budapest, but she is worried about catching it. The figures are going up there, too.

Also there was a lot of news on the dangers of human trafficking at the borders. It must be a dream come true for organised crime: a lot of desperate young women and children

At some point in the future we are going to have to take this head on. If not now, we can kick the can down the road to our kids or our grandkids but it is not going away. It will fester until then.

Interesting comparison with the International Brigades who volunteered for the Spanish Civil War.
