Actually this information has helped me to decide where to send a donation.

I've been umming and ahhing about which charity route to go down. Now I will donate to Lumos.

She is truly compassionate and fabulous. I feel blessed that she is around in my lifetime and has shaped both mine and my childrens livrs.

Excellent thanks for posting this, I too have been wondering where to donate as have been bombarded with lots of links from others and this charity sounds great and even better knowing it will be doubled.

We’ve already donated to DEC but the DCs want to donate some pocket money. That was going to go to DEC too but I’m sure they’ll want to donate to Lumos.

Announcing that a donation will be matched is going to encourage more donations than if she just gave the money without mentioning it.

Also, I’m not sure “most” people are giving anyway.

Hopefully it will shut up her detractors for a bit. It's a positive useful thing she's doing
