It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

Todays was much harder than yesterday’s.

995 but I think I have to give up. It’s so hard!

I solved Semantle #28 in 312 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 4.22. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #230. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 25.02. semantle.novalis.org/

Fucking hell. It took me half the day to get warm. Bonkers how everyone is stuck on 995 but it only took me ten seconds and two guesses from that word. The first 230 guesses though. Ughh.

I'm giving up, it's difficult today! Yesterday's I got in 25, today's I'm on guess 257 and the closest I'm at is 990!

Another stuck on 995 for ages, thinking of giving up.

Currently stuck on 995. All the obvious close words are coming way down the list.

I'm STILL at 995, it's so frustrating. All my guesses are filling in the blanks lower down but it's not helping me

Finally got today's with the help of my DD and her BF. Almost 300 guesses but we got there in the end. A great game. Thanks!!!

Yes please! A hint would be amazing!

No probs, I'll say I think 996 is the closest to the correct word, even closer than 999, if that's any help.

Sorry, no I misread my semantic answers and have just totally misled you, ignore that, sorry, I think my eyes are done in now!!!

An actual hint would be stick closely to 996.

I got it before I read that, (honest!) but thanks!!! I realised there was a pattern (of sorts) and realised what I was missing. So glad I solved one!!!

Glad you got it, I think that one was mean tbh , hope I can get the next one without as much hair tearing out!

Realised I would have got it at 104 rather than 137 had I not spelt it a different way.

First try today and got it in 133!! Has the potential to be very frustrating

Another one stuck at word 995 ! I got that at word 69, currently on guess 104, getting no closer , will probably give up .

The spelling was the killer!
