Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

I think from what I understand of the question mark one, there are two lists of words, one is all the words the computer has to look at and the other is smaller. Not sure whether the second list is all the potential answers and these are planned in advance like wordle? But anyway if a word is very obscure it might not be in the second list.

Only the smaller list words are allowed to be in the top 1000, but the top 1000 are automatically collated from the second list.

Therefore, if a word is closer or equal in percentage than the word at 1/1000 but it's only in the full list, you get the ???.

I seem to have a theme, still plugging away but no luck with the actual answer.

Yesterdays word was bold and I found it difficult as I had two themes going. Bright, colourful and then words to describe a person as being bold
