Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

So do I, but I think it's ok as until you're really close I think you often need to explore a bit away from where you are iyswim.

I gave up on one recently after being stuck with lots of quite high ranking words all to do with art, painting ... the word was piano, I hadn't thought to try different 'artistic' fields

I solved Semantle #32 in 231 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 11.12. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #218. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 37.58. semantle.novalis.org/

My God, I've just got it after going round and round in circles. I got to 980 pretty quickly but it took another 116 tries to find the final word!
