Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

Another one stuck at word 995 ! I got that at word 69, currently on guess 104, getting no closer , will probably give up .

Thank you OP for this, never heard of this. Started doing it there, got a similarlity of 20% for one. How does it all work, its so hard!

I wat to suggest a daily 23:00 brainstorm but I'm not sure if it would help...

Great, my starting word which was 0.47 on Friday, and 3.something yesterday is 21.4! Might make it in a hundred (or not!).

Hooray, I got it! Took me 101 goes. Not seeing the relevance to a lot of the words but it’s quite nice from the word association point of view.

Hurray I got today’s in 67 having got 999 at 38 then circled the drain for 30 attempts! Phew can go to bed now and actually achieve something tomorrow! Have managed wordle in two by a fluke as well perhaps I should do the lottery next!!!

I've just got yesterday's in 581 guesses, it must let you keep going if you've still got it open. I was stuck on 995 hundreds ago, so frustrating so thank you for the hint OP! I don't think I have the right type of brain for this! Clearly tenacious but not lateral.

I solved Semantle #29 in 30 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of -0.85. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #8. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 44.81 (456/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

I'm 15 guesses down today so far, only one has been better than my first word.

Second day today and I got it in 78 (almost 300 attempts yesterday but with help). I think it will take a while to work out how the whole thing works... Hmm
