Mines fish finger sandwiches or sausage sandwich. For Some reason it has no appeal.
Yet I'd eat a sausage in a bun.

Am I missing that much?

Cheese
@PiperPosey 74 years without even a sip of tea or coffee!? I’m not reading the rest of the thread, this is amazing. You’re not missing out by the way.
Curtsies My friend said to me once when I was in my 40's..." Oh for Heaven's sake just take a sip of coffee !"
I said, " Well, then I could never say I never had a sip of coffee or tea again!" ha.. *My only claim to fame."

@Theimpossiblegirl

Andouillette is where I draw the line too. I'll try most things if offered and am generally an adventurous eater but no, not eating poo flavoured sausage.
Me too, most other things are making me hungry, crab, oysters snails - yes please. You can keep all the fast food. But bowel sausage? Ugh, not tried it and would never order it. I probably would have a confirmation taste if offered from someone else's plate though, just so I could say I had.
Pangolin44 · 22/02/2022 05:09

I actually quite enjoyed andouillette. It's gamey but not repulsive.

Pangolin44 · 22/02/2022 05:12

Cheese?

Please the Cheese people tell me why or how, you've never tasted Cheese?

It done confuse my brain...

Wineisrequired · 22/02/2022 05:15

Sushi

cherrysthename · 22/02/2022 07:50

Pangolin for me it's because it smells bad and it's an unpleasant thought: solidified gone off milk. The fact you can slice it...or grate it...the fact it goes stringy and oily when melted...shudder! I just think it's really grim.

lollipopsandrainbows · 22/02/2022 08:29

@ShinyPikachu nope I didn't. Scrap that off the list then Grin

AladdinPrincess999 · 22/02/2022 08:41

Tacos! Not sure why. Just never been that bothered

longwayoff · 22/02/2022 08:43

cherrysthename just come on to the end of the thread and spotted your post. Spent a good couple of minutes pondering how you could slice, grate or melt a pangolin, yuk, I agree, before realising you were replying to a query about cheese.Grin

SmugOldBag · 22/02/2022 08:44

We had a similar thread recently and someone came on to say they'd never eaten cheese.
Boggling.

ohMaggieMaggieMae · 22/02/2022 08:57

@GurtBusty

As some others have said, I think I would willingly eat most things mentioned. But there are a few things I've tried once, but would rather not eat again:
 • brains
 • tripe
 • chicken feet
 • Hershey's chocolate
 • fish eyes
 • sweatbreads
Brains. Grin Like chilled monkey brains from Indiana Jones?
Manchildisunattractive · 22/02/2022 10:27

Marmite

Oldraver · 22/02/2022 11:00

Oysters. The thought turns my stomach

pollygartertidywife · 22/02/2022 16:28

Sweet Corn. Especially on the cob.
Mashed swede and butter. Food of the devil.

If I won the lottery I would employ my own sushi chef and eat it breakfast lunch and supper.. luckily dc feel the same. However we live in rural Sussex and Sushi is a London or Brighton treat .

Hebeee · 23/02/2022 00:54

Tinned tuna - disgusting stuff, looks/smells like cat food!
Oysters - too slimy to contemplate.
Snails - ditto.
Mushrooms (was very ill after eating some aged about 15 and haven't had them since).

Drink-wise, I'm another who hasn't ever drunk tea or coffee (although I think I had tea once when I was about three). I'm 54 now and have no desire to try either...in fact the smell of tea makes me gag!
Milk, too, although I will drink the occasional (thick) milkshake and do eat stuff with milk content, but haven't had milk on its own since I was a toddler. Refused to drink it at school 🙄

Curiously, DH is also a non-drinker of tea and coffee....but he does like milk 😉

EmmaMaya · 23/02/2022 01:37

Majority of seafood!

mjf981 · 23/02/2022 04:37

Vegemite (Australia). Even the smell is rank.

Have you never had a pizza? A lasagna? A risotto or a pasta dish with cheese on top or incorporated? A sarnie with cream cheese in it? Even accidentally or as a kid? Maybe a creamy sauce that had cheese in it (but not the main constituent eg a mushroom sauce)

If you ordered a meal and it had cheese on it or you thought it was in a sauce would you send it back?

Im still boggled. We must go through kilos of cheese a week in this house.

What about butter? Same concept really.
