Mines fish finger sandwiches or sausage sandwich. For Some reason it has no appeal.
Yet I'd eat a sausage in a bun.

Am I missing that much?

OP posts:

Goose - no real reason other than the opportunity has never presented itself
Kebabs - don’t appeal
Pickled onions or gherkins because I’m pretty sure I’d hate them

Airyfairymarybeary · 21/02/2022 20:19

Cow breast milk

bigyellowTpot · 21/02/2022 20:22

@Lunaballoon I've seen blackpudding being made on TV and it put me off for life so I have never tasted it either even though I am told it tastes lovely. seeing it being made with all that blood totally knocked me sick.

YouCantTourniquetTheTaint · 21/02/2022 20:23

I hate with the passion of a thousand burning suns, in no particular order:

Tea 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Coriander 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Avocado 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Pork: 🤮🤮

That's about it really, there's probably more but I can't remember right now lol.

Baked beans

MrsRobinson669 · 21/02/2022 20:24

Olives, Oysters, Sprouts 🤢

eunace · 21/02/2022 20:30

Any of those horrible dips. Taramasalta, hummus and that slimey aubergine one.

BuddhaForMary · 21/02/2022 20:32

Prosecco. Never had it. Am I missing out?

melmos · 21/02/2022 20:34

Bananas, mashed potato (actually I have these under duress as a child and cried), tripe and boiled egg. Bleugh

Zilla1 · 21/02/2022 20:35

@YouCantTourniquetTheTaint coriander taste has some odd genetics OR6A2? with about 20% saying it tastes of soap and a smaller % finding it tastes of something else unpleasant.

ShallWeTalkAboutBruno · 21/02/2022 20:35

The thread is ‘what have you never eaten that people love’, not ‘what don’t you like’.

MrsMiddleMother · 21/02/2022 20:43

Avocado

janj2301 · 21/02/2022 20:44

Anything with vinegar in it.

Eldest daugher lived in Far East from ages 4 to 10 will try anything.
I was brought up by a beef and two veg on a Sunday family never had anything exotic (beefeater!!!) Till I was 20+

konasana · 21/02/2022 20:47

KFC

Rookie93 · 21/02/2022 20:47

Have never wanted to try squid or calamari, it's the idea of putting tenticles in my mouth, just no. Lots of people love it but can't get my head around it. Also find the textures of avocados and mangos off somehow and really don't like them at all.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 21/02/2022 20:48

@Airyfairymarybeary

Cow breast milk
I wouldn't want any milk from a cow breast, either.

Cows have udders and teats, not breasts.

sweetbellyhigh · 21/02/2022 20:48

Kimchi

sweetbellyhigh · 21/02/2022 20:49

@Dontsayyouloveme

Fresh tuna!
It's so good. Unrecognisable from the tinned stuff.
Wfhquery · 21/02/2022 20:50

Steak

sweetbellyhigh · 21/02/2022 20:52

@RampantIvy

I suspect that all the people who think they won't like sushi think it is raw fish.

no it isn't

Sashimi is raw fish.

Sushi is prepared seasoned rice. It is accompanied by fish (cooked or raw), cooked meat or vegetables.

Sorry for shouting, but I get irriated by the ignorance surrounding sushi.

In answer to the OP I will never, ever try snails.

Sushi is really popular here in NZ, most schools have a sushi lunch service.

But what hardly anyone seems to notice is how little goodness is in it. It's basically sugary rice with fragments of salmon, chicken, cucumber and carrot.

pinkpirlie · 21/02/2022 20:53

Raw tomatoes
Olives
Meat and fish since I was 7 (so probably never eaten any if the more unconventional meats, although I don't recall)
KFC (even fries)
Eggs that look and taste like eggs (including things like quiche as just looks way to eggy)
Broccoli (except by accident once in a single spoon of soup, rest went in the bin)
Peanut butter (don't really like peanuts, so butter has never appealed)
Marmalade
And probably loads of other things

Xiomara22 · 21/02/2022 20:54

Steak
Gammon
