Mines fish finger sandwiches or sausage sandwich. For Some reason it has no appeal.
Yet I'd eat a sausage in a bun.

Am I missing that much?

Christmas pudding just seems revolting, probably because of the stories of putting a sixpence into it. Who wants to eat food with a manky old coin in it? Brandy butter also seems really horrible. Is it actually made with butter or is it some kind of cream?

For those who have not tried oysters, they are horrible. It's a toss up between oysters and saurkraut for worst food award.

LimeSupper · 21/02/2022 18:20

Tripe

EmpressSuiko · 21/02/2022 18:22

Prawns

SweetNcrunchy · 21/02/2022 18:22

I've never been to KFC, Subway, Nandos or Greggs.

But i do like a McDonalds McMuffin.

I have never eaten mushrooms either.

rolypolydoly · 21/02/2022 18:22

Seafood

Wagamama

Grantingmum · 21/02/2022 18:23

I've always been veggie so I guess all meat and fish...

EmpressSuiko · 21/02/2022 18:23

Actually just seafood in general, I can’t even bare the thought of eating any of it 🤢

RampantIvy · 21/02/2022 18:24

I really like Wagamama. I'm assuming you just don't like spicy food @
rolypolydoly, because their food is pretty decent, and there is a wide choice. Wagamama is one of the better chains IMO.

Okbye · 21/02/2022 18:26

Subway - the yeasty smell outside the shop is really horrible

BTW- the title of this thread is “ What have u never eaten that people seem to love.”. Since when were ‘brains’, ‘snails’ and ‘tripe’ widely loved foods?!

nauticant · 21/02/2022 18:29

tomato juice - just why?

The answer is "bloody mary".

MysticCT · 21/02/2022 18:30

Yes Subway!

Don’t get it. Expensive prices for cheap rolls with ham and lettuce etc - so basic

Thewindwhispers · 21/02/2022 18:33

Oysters and suishi.

Yuck.

Lovemydoggie · 21/02/2022 18:33

Seafood

Justleaveitblankthen · 21/02/2022 18:34

@RampantIvy

I suspect that all the people who think they won't like sushi think it is raw fish.

no it isn't

Sashimi is raw fish.

Sushi is prepared seasoned rice. It is accompanied by fish (cooked or raw), cooked meat or vegetables.

Sorry for shouting, but I get irriated by the ignorance surrounding sushi.

In answer to the OP I will never, ever try snails.

This has completely educated me and I will bank it incase I ever do The Chase 🤓
Thanks!

BobbinHood · 21/02/2022 18:34

KFC (if I’m having that kind of fast food I’d rather have McDonalds) and scallops.

I’ve had a subway sandwich once and it was really underwhelming, I don’t get the appeal either.
PlanetNormal · 21/02/2022 18:35

I’m an omnivore who has eaten and enjoyed almost everything mentioned on this thread except oysters - the texture made me heave.

I draw the line at brain, though. I remember seeing brains of various animals for sale on a food market stall when on holiday in France. 🤮

Bromse · 21/02/2022 18:35

Shell fish or crustaceans of any type. There is the possibility I may have tried shrimps or prawns as a very small child because my parents had them occasionally but I don't remember. All I know is that I would not eat them.

Leggingslife · 21/02/2022 18:37
