Mines fish finger sandwiches or sausage sandwich. For Some reason it has no appeal.
Yet I'd eat a sausage in a bun.

Am I missing that much?

Sashimi is raw fish.

Sushi is prepared seasoned rice. It is accompanied by fish (cooked or raw), cooked meat or vegetables.

Sorry for shouting, but I get irriated by the ignorance surrounding sushi.

In answer to the OP I will never, ever try snails.

To be honest, snails are largely an excuse to eat half a pound of delicious garlic butter... I enjoy them enormously but I suspect the reason is less snail-based than I would happily admit to!

I've never been to Wagamama or nandos.

With oysters, you need to eat natives in season, it's a completely different experience from eating the large rock oysters most places sell. Even DH, who was vehemently anti-oyster was converted when I introduced him to them.

Couldn't put oysters or jellied eels in my mouth if my life depended on it.

Do love prawns, lobster and crab though.

Live oysters. Eww the thought of eating something live is repulsive.

I've never tried asparagus, can't imagine it's nice, even though I think it's seen as a bit more 'fancy' than a lot of veg.

Andouillette is where I draw the line too. I'll try most things if offered and am generally an adventurous eater but no, not eating poo flavoured sausage.

I've never had a curry wurst. I lived in Berlin for a while and they were for sale from street vendors everywhere so obviously lots of people enjoy them but they didn't appeal to me at all.

As explained above, sushi isn’t raw fish. It’s a rice dish.

i dont like nandos either

I can't bring myself to try Stilton (or any other blue cheese) the look and smell of it is totally off putting. How do you even know when it's not OK to eat, when it's mouldy to start with...?

The raw fish used in sashimi and sushi is usually frozen before use to kill anything that might be in it. The temperature is very low, below what a domestic freezer can reach.
