Couldn’t find a thread, is anyone watching

Watching the mens final then in the early hours of Sunday we have the woman’s final. I will need a wee disco nap later. Thankfully the rugby isn’t on this weekend.

I’m following as much as I can online. Fingers crossed.

Just me then. Oh well.

Cheering on team GB, but as a curling fan I won’t be gutted if Nicklaus Edin gets the gold for Sweden.

I love watching the curling as it’s one sport that Scotland are consistently good at. Of course in the Olympics we are Team GB.

I’m a Brit in Japan so tomorrow’s women’s final will be interesting
I watched 4 years ago when Japan’s women took bronze from the UK but whatever happens tomorrow, I’ll be happy

And of course I hope the lads beat Sweden today

You mean at the end? They leave it blank intentionally so they can retain the hammer (last stone) and get an advantage in the next end (I think)

And anyone English is only ever referred to as British whereas Scottish athletes are carefully referred to as Scottish despite competing for a British team

Northern Ireland is ignored even in the name of the team.

I'm watching, and managed to watch most of the women's semi yesterday. The tactics are really different today. Although the GB team are cranking the tension up (9th end) they seem to have the upper hand tactically
