So we've got Dudley today and tomorrow and Eunice on Friday so thought I'd start a thread. Dudley has barely hit here in Edinburgh and already there's a flight from LHR struggling to land.

Trying to work out where Venice is headed. Ah! Just updated, it’s off to Newcastle.

pussycatunpickingcrossesagain · 18/02/2022 11:15

@bunnypenny

😱 my husband’s a pilot and is landing in LGW in about an hour. This is making me v uneasy!!
It's a shame you can't get a message to him...we'll be watching!! Grin

JER-LHR just aborted at about 1500.

Namechangeagain84 · 18/02/2022 11:16

Miami 2nd attempt?

PPCD · 18/02/2022 11:16

Munich to London Gatwick looks like its diverted after two failed attempts

inigomontoyahwillcox · 18/02/2022 11:17

C'mon Miami

twilightcafe · 18/02/2022 11:17

Maybe AMS-LONDON is heading for Birmingham.

EduCated · 18/02/2022 11:17

Munich to Gatwick also seems to be diverting north.

liveforsummer · 18/02/2022 11:17

Bristol lining up 😬

OP posts:
Maerchentante · 18/02/2022 11:17

Miami go around again

Maerchentante · 18/02/2022 11:18

Or not, should not go by altitude only

Namechangeagain84 · 18/02/2022 11:18

Another great landing!

FairyLightQueen · 18/02/2022 11:18

Oh well done Miami!

Pennox · 18/02/2022 11:18

Why do they only get 2 attempts at Gatwick and 3 at LHR?

Eve · 18/02/2022 11:19

@Crazykatie

Watched one last storm trying to land a Manchester after 3 attempts it went to Frankfurt!.

Airliners have a strict limit for turbulent weather and carry extra fuel for diversions.

ohhh - can you see this on flight radar

I had an aborted easyjet landing into Gatwick Sunday evening - was scary - the pilots made no comment at all, despite the cabin crew saying twice dont panic normal procedure the pilot will update us soon.

FairyLightQueen · 18/02/2022 11:19

Is LIS-LHR going back to LIS?!

Ocsetldil · 18/02/2022 11:20

I bet there are a lot of cheers on that Miami plane now!

Could someone please put the JetTV link up on the new thread? I’m off to walk the dog before it gets too bad (Norfolk based).

EduCated · 18/02/2022 11:21

@FairyLightQueen

Is LIS-LHR going back to LIS?!
Certainly off somewhere.
FairyLightQueen · 18/02/2022 11:21

Woooo Bristol did it!

UsernameIsNotAvailableRightNow · 18/02/2022 11:21

Bristol down finally!

ErrolTheDragon · 18/02/2022 11:22

I take it Bristol airport is on a bit of a hill?

liveforsummer · 18/02/2022 11:22

Bristol down first go but my app glitched and it looked like it over shot the runway at about 900ft

OP posts:
EduCated · 18/02/2022 11:22

Two more coming into Bristol. Hopefully they make it down quickly!
