So we've got Dudley today and tomorrow and Eunice on Friday so thought I'd start a thread. Dudley has barely hit here in Edinburgh and already there's a flight from LHR struggling to land.

@CaveMum

We're going to need a new thread soon!

36,000 people watching on YouTube apparently - most of them from Mumsnet!

🤣🤣. I'll make a new one once or get close to 950. Not sure how to link though from my phone.

Edinburgh and San Francisco flights both aborted.

Pennox · 18/02/2022 10:54

NOOOOOOOOO poor SF, 2 more goes ..

Interested in this thread?

Then you might like threads about these subjects:

This guy on big jet is having the best day of his life

ErrolTheDragon · 18/02/2022 10:55

Sf was so nearly down

Maerchentante · 18/02/2022 10:55

I wonder where they are going to divert to, if they have to. Eunice will go towards "the continent" next, German radio station I listen to has warnings out all the time.

Ocsetldil · 18/02/2022 10:56

Can we all have a communal cheer and clap when a plane does actually manage to land?

ErrolTheDragon · 18/02/2022 10:57

Wtf is Bristol one doing?

Pilot types - do you take more of a risk when it's third and final attempt or is it all determined by the automation?

Ocsetldil · 18/02/2022 10:58

Budapest!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thedailyfailx · 18/02/2022 10:58

@Pthagonal

I can't believe that Paris to Bristol flight is going around again!
I'm watching this too, my local airport. Those poor people 😬 must be so bumpy up there
CaveMum · 18/02/2022 10:58

Flight from Miami coming in.

EduCated · 18/02/2022 10:58

Well done that pilot!

wonderstuff · 18/02/2022 10:58

These pilots are definitely earning their money today! Must be so stressful

liveforsummer · 18/02/2022 10:59

Just holding for now, possibly waiting for a break in the gusts. Budapest got lucky then the guy on big jet said it went still as it came in

LittleSnakes · 18/02/2022 10:59

What is Paris Bristol gonna do?!

EduCated · 18/02/2022 10:59

Where did Vienna go? Lost track of who’s where!

MrsFezziwig · 18/02/2022 10:59

Crikey! I was last on the thread on Tuesday when there were a few of us watching the Tenerife flight trying to get into Leeds (eventually ending up in Birmingham). This is what happens when you take your eye off the ball!

Pennox · 18/02/2022 11:00

why do some abort early (wind shear?) and some have a go?

This is fascinating btw pilots of MN!

Next one's from Nassau, just flown overhead

ErrolTheDragon · 18/02/2022 11:01

And one from Miami failed

Ocsetldil · 18/02/2022 11:01

There is a helicopter in Richmond Park. How is that staying stable?
