Should I be shot at dawn or hung in public??

My dd eats homemade food but its not always made from organic ingredients and I used to feed her jars. She wears disposable nappies and was bottle-fed from about 6 weeks. She watches telly, eats biscuits and has been introduced to the joys of chocolate.

Lock me up now!!!

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:30

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:33

Hmmmm. Shot at dawn or hung in public? Are we only allowed to choose one option or could we combine the two?

JoolsToo · 18/11/2004 11:33

you'll find me in the corner of the cell - I used to give mine egg and chips

WigWamBam · 18/11/2004 11:34

Lynch me, too - I believe in freedom of choice!

Dd was breastfed for two years, which has obviously done her no end of damage as she was never allowed to prop a bottle up by herself. She eats home-made food, but I too used to feed her on jars. She watches telly, and although she loves fruit, prunes and sprouts, she also likes sweets, biscuits, fish fingers and pizza. I have always used disposable nappies, and I wouldn't dream of using a mooncup.

Come on - fetch the lynch mob!

zephyrcat · 18/11/2004 11:34

snap dd is in the other room watching alladin - after watching cbeebies this morning -Way more than the recommended 2 hours and its only 11:30! Shes had chocolate biscuits and has a dummy when she wants it. Ds has just had his milk from a bottle which wasnt sterelised and has been in the bottle for more than an hour. He's also got a dummy in his mouth!! Ooh I'm such a good mummy!!!!! lol

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:34

Jools - thats reminded me - was in McD's a couple of weeks ago and let dd eat some chips (no salt added tho) - even I didn't realise how bad I've got!!!

ct - hmmm, I suppose I'll let you combine 2, seeing as you are such a persistant offender like me!!!

wwb - whats a mooncup?

alicatsg · 18/11/2004 11:37

is this also where I confess that ds occasionally helps himself from the catbowl. (hangs head in shame)

WigWamBam · 18/11/2004 11:37

A mooncup is a reusable cup that goes where the sun doesn't shine when you have your AF so you don't use STs or tampons and can feel hugely virtuous and environmentally friendly!

zephyrcat · 18/11/2004 11:37

oh thats ok dd loves catfood lol admittedly i used to do that too!

WigWamBam · 18/11/2004 11:38

mooncup

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:39

alicats - once or twice I've looked round and found dd splashing her hands in the dog's water bowl, so you're not the only one!!!

a mooncup is something you stick 'up there' and use instead of tampons/towels. Then you take it out, wash it and put it back again. One of my CHILD-LESS friends has one, and cooks organic - I should be ashamed!!!

OP posts:
alicatsg · 18/11/2004 11:39

am strangely revolted by the mooncup

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:40

me too alicats!!! Another black mark by both of our names!!!

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:40

ct - the sacks don't earn you any points when you've been carting your booze around in them!!!

coppertop · 18/11/2004 11:42

I have far too many sins to confess to on here - including not even being able to bring myself to click on the mooncup link, let alone use one of the things.

alicatsg · 18/11/2004 11:42

my friend makes her own reusable bottom wipes and offered to show me how - and I turned her down. There is no hope for me.

wobblyknicks · 18/11/2004 11:44

alicats- my baby wipes have to be shop bought and with baby lotion. Even went to a shop where they sell the flushable ones the other day and walked away because they were more expensive.

OP posts:
WigWamBam · 18/11/2004 11:44

Home made reusable bottom wipes?

Ewwww ...
