Pigged out last night. Not too bad though (Didn't have anything in! lol) I started feeling shaky so ate a Muller light. Then went back for another, and another...ate 4 in the end. And also a Oats So Simple and Skinny Syrup. Blush
That's only about 600 extra calories so hopefully not too much damage.

WreckTangled · 12/03/2022 11:05

I doubt it would make much difference at all as a one off. We had Chinese last night Blush

I need to do an order or low carb bread rolls and wraps to help me out I think.

PaperMonster · 12/03/2022 13:32

Hello all! Has a busy couple of days as usual, also worked this morning as there’s been a wedding at church so I’ve been over to make sure it’s presentable!

Now having a sit down having given our downstairs a good tidy and clean now the workmen have gone. @WreckTangled I need to order some low carb rolls and some Lo-Dough too. Must do that over the weekend. Lovely weather here, hurrah! Might go for a stroll later!

But you enjoyed it I hope WreckTangled? Grin
Had another two yogurts last night...Weigh in day tomorrow!
Hello PaperMonster! Smile Did you have a walk in the end? Sounds like you have been very busy cleaning at church and home. What's Lo-Dough, is that the bread?

OP posts:
73kittycat73 · 14/03/2022 11:16

Lost 1lb. I'm not too disappointed as I'm hoping for a big Swoosh in the next week or two.
Hope everyone else is having a good day?
I've been talking to an Estate Agent about a property but he's just informed me today he has 8 viewings booked. Sad I really don't think we'll get it.

PaperMonster · 17/03/2022 19:12

Hi @73kittycat73 sorry, been super busy again. Had a couple of short walks at weekend. The weather was lovely and has been so ever since! Lo-Dough is a low carb product. I use it mainly for pizza bases as I find it a bit chewy to use as a wrap. My Not Cross Buns have arrived too! Hurrah! Well done on the 1lb loss.

73kittycat73 · 17/03/2022 19:29

Hi PaperMonster. Smile Glad you had nice weather, we are supposedly in for a few sunny days. Enjoy your pizzas! Grin
Had a snackcident last night. Ate a Milky Bar and Thorntons Easter egg. Blush The Thorntons one was actually for my brother. lol I'll have to get him another one, AND STORE IT OUT OF THE HOUSE!

WreckTangled · 18/03/2022 08:31

I got a big delivery from seriously low carb too. I got loads of sliced bread and bread rolls.

I've seen a low carb cereal I want to try but it's £££££ Sad and I want to do an order from Carbzone for pasta, wraps and chocolate but again it's so much money!

73kittycat73 · 18/03/2022 19:42

Oh, cereal...Honey nut cheerios...Crunchy Nut Cornflakes...I don't suppose you are talking about cereal like that are you? Grin Is the low carb pasta any good? I've ordered some wholemeal pasta in this weeks shop. I really don't think I'll like it, but I can only try. It's due Sunday.

OP posts:
73kittycat73 · 18/03/2022 19:50

Just checked out Carbzone and the Granola I wanted to try was sold out. The pasta didn't have a very good review to start with (Slightly rubbery and quick to lose heat.) so I don't think I'll try that, unless you can recommend?

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 18/03/2022 20:04

It's definitely al dente so I don't think you'd like it. Whole meal pasta will be fine, you won't notice the difference I'm sure Smile the cereal does actually look like Cheerios. They have cinnamon, frosted and cocoa!

PaperMonster · 18/03/2022 22:21

@73kittycat73 have you tried Holland & Barratt’s Slim Pasta? V low carb. I have it now and then when I really feel the need for pasta.

Had a cereal binge tonight. Not good.

73kittycat73 · 19/03/2022 20:07

Ooh, where's that cereal from then WreckTangled? Thanks for the tip off about the pasta, I appreciate it. Hopefully the whole meal pasta will be disguised by the Ragu. Grin
I remember trying some pasta from H&B a few years ago PaperMonster. It was so rubbery it was gross! Maybe they have improved since then? Sorry to hear about your binge. I did too last night. Just wanted to EAT. All I had in were Oat So Simples (Had two) and some low calorie chocolate bars I ordered from Amazon. Ate loads of them. Still, not beating myself up about it this time. It took years to put on so will take a while to lose.
Annoyed with Amazon today too. They are usually so good. Decided last night o order a Fitbit to encourage me to be more active. I have Prime so it was due to arrive today. I had my front door open all day. Get an email to say driver delivered my packages so go to look and no parcels there. (Wouldn't have been nicked as you have to come into the garden to get to the front door.) Waited for a while as I know sometimes they say delivered and they turn up 20 minutes later. Still no show so try and get in touch with Amazon. Tried live chat and got a bot. Told me I have to wait until March 22nd before they can step in! Angry I hope it turns up tomorrow.

WreckTangled · 19/03/2022 20:36

It's called Eat Surreal but it's £6 a box and you can only buy them in packs of four!

We had Indian tonight which I can do low carb so still feeling good. I got some Lindt 70% chocolate with raspberries in too which is tasty.

73kittycat73 · 20/03/2022 19:09

Blimey, that is pricey! Shock What if you don't like them?
Oh, had the pasta and you were right. Smile I haven't had pasta since last year sometime. It was really nice. Good that you can get the take-a-way in. I like the Lindt 80% (I think it is?) mint chocolate.

OP posts:
73kittycat73 · 20/03/2022 19:19

I just bought the Cocoa pack...Shock I love cereal and the reviews all said it was lovely...I guess I'll let you know how it tastes when it comes!

OP posts:
WreckTangled · 20/03/2022 19:23

Oh did you?! Yes let me know! I really want the cocoa, frosted and cinnamon. The mixed pack comes with a peanuts one in though and I hate nuts.

73kittycat73 · 20/03/2022 19:33

I didn't go for the mixed pack because I'm not keen on cinnamon. The frosting was tempting but the review wasn't as good. Read the Cocoa ones and was hooked! lol I shall indeed let you know how they taste. Smile

Well weighed today, even including my binge days, I lost 2lbs! Very chuffed. It seems if I eat (Slimming World, also count the carbs) chips, I don't lose weight much at all. I had them once last week. (I did do my BS readings around them too.) so will cut down massively on them.

BorderlineHappy · 21/03/2022 17:06

Hows everyone today.

I ate a shitload of crap over the weekend
Im so tired today because of it..

I really have to get in to a better headspace.
I just dont know how.

WreckTangled · 21/03/2022 17:15

That's excellent 73kitty I feel that your attitude has shifted and you now don't get disheartened and think fuck it if you have one evening where you eat a lot; you draw a line under it and forget about it which is really positive (I hope that doesn't come across as patronising as it's really not meant that way).

Borderline can you get in some low carb treats and easy snacks? I find it so hard to get back on track after eating lots of carbs. I've managed it for... over a week now I think and I can already feel the cravings getting less. I've got a chocolate protein pudding in the fridge that I'm really looking forward to after dinner. I also want to lose a few pounds so that's spurring me on.

73kittycat73 · 21/03/2022 19:20

Hi BorderlineHappy, lovely to see you! Smile Could you contact your GP about being referred to a weight loss programme, like the 12 week one I'm doing? Or do they not do that where you are? If not, maybe the GP has other resources that could help you? Maybe instead of thinking about what you shouldn't be eating, make a promise to yourself that you'll eat one piece of fruit a day this week. Then next week 2, or make a promise to go for a walk every day. Small manageable steps, so it's not so overwhelming.
Thank you, and not patronising at all WreckTangled. Smile Sounds like you are doing really well too. I hope you enjoy your pudding, and good luck with losing a few pounds. Sounds like you've got this!

BorderlineHappy · 21/03/2022 19:25

I think my problem is not having food there.
So went shopping today and made mousaka and freezed most of it,so i at least have something half decent.

Also bought some protein desserts from Aldi.
So from tomorrow im back to the grindstone [again].

Thats fantastic @73kittycat73 really well done.

@PaperMonster i think i have had that pasta and its rank.Smells of fish and its weirdly slimey.

I would rather have a small portion of brown rice or noodles than that stuff.

PaperMonster · 21/03/2022 20:57

@BorderlineHappy yes that’s the stuff! You’ve to wash the smell off!! But I don’t mind it once it’s all mixed up with some sauce !

I have had a fabulously boozy weekend, drinking with friends in the sunshine! Not a big drinker, but this was lovely!

73kittycat73 · 22/03/2022 19:39

Thanks BorderlineHappy. Smile How's things going for you today? Well done on the meal planning. Star I pigged out a bit last night, I couldn't sleep.
Hi PaperMonster, sounds like you had a great weekend. Smile I went for a walk yesterday and today, and hardly worried at all! Are you still out enjoying the sunshine, or too busy?
I'm supposed to (Finally) be talking to a GP tomorrow about starting HRT. I was told by the consultant that because I had womb cancer I couldn't go on HRT. I asked for some help with hot flushes in the Menopause section on here and a kind poster told me that the advice for that had been changed. (I waited from Monday 28th Feb, then last week the weather was bad when the call was due, and the stupid Dr kept trying my mobile but getting no signal. I phoned back to say please call me on my landline. Still calling on mobile, when I phone back he has left the building and said he was the wrong person to speak to anyway as he couldn't prescribe HRT and I would need to speak to a Dr! Who was he then?! So it has been rescheduled for tomorrow afternoon.)
Oh yeah, my Fitbit turned up today too! Smile
