First time playing. Had four letters in 3 goes and the double letter thing threw me as I couldn't work out how to make a word with those ketters!

The app ripped off the original web designer so I avoid out of principle

The one and only time I got it in two I had started with the word 'penis'

I heard about "adieu" too, but it's more fun to use a different word really. I try to use one with three vowels, like "raise" or "house".

You need to watch Lingo on itv in the afternoons... it's a game show Wordle! Against the clock!

As a total binge watcher of TV I'm glad there's only one of these per day! Love it but also wasn't impressed with favor (though I did still get it!).

I've only failed once and I can't remember what it was. I think it was the beginning of last week. Used to love playing Mastermind when I was a kid.

I use aeons to start. Apparently heart and sound are good too.

I read somewhere that it could happen but so far has only occurred two or three times. So not an immediate go to for the first word!

I loved Mastermind as a kid too @JustJustWhy! Used to play it with my Dad. seeing the picture of the box has made me nostalgic. It’s such a ridiculous photo on the box though 😂

Here are two of my recent games on there, one very frustrating and one very satisfying. I always start with AROSE because it’s got three vowels and S and R are useful.

I start with spade - no idea why

I always start with "stare" as it's the two most common vowels and 3 of the most common consonants and there are more consonants to rule out overall. I'm averaging 3 guesses to get it most often although some words are more of a pain than others. Today I got it in two.

Oh this is the first day I lost, and it was because I thought it was repeat letters but it wasn't. :( I put in two same letters and one was yellow one green. So I thought it meant the word had two and one was in the wrong place. But it didn't, only one. :(((

I love it too. Got it in 4 today.

Can’t manage to share it though. How do I do that?
