So many options today, though. I got lucky because that word had been mentioned the other day.

I think i prefer the hard ones. So many options means it's just luck how quickly you get it.

@Donatella and @JulesRimetStillGleaming you need to up your tactics.
If you know 3 or 4 letters go hunting for the missing ones.
Words like PRICK, SHAFT and BLOND will help

Yes - if you've got only one letter to fill in but there are more possibilities than you've got goes left, then you need to think of a word or two which covers a lot of them rather than guessing. In this case I think there are 7 possibilities for the 4th letter. Repeating the letters which are in the right places adds no information whatever - you might get lucky or you might not. So unless it's the last go that's a risky strategy.

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 After my third go there were 3 options left (my first two words never share any letters so I had excluded most of the options) but unfortunately I tried them in the wrong order. Mum had the same 3 options but got the right one on her first attempt. Frustrating!

Is anyone still playing Sweardle? Anyone noticed something odd or is it just me?

Just had a go for the first time, didn't notice anything odd though? Aside from the fact you can't reuse a letter once it's been discounted.
