What lovely holidays do you have planned over the coming year?

I am really looking forward to going home (I live abroad) for a few weeks in the summertime. We did this last year and it was brilliant. My mum has cancer, and it's really important that we get home if at all possible.

I'd like to get a beach weekend local to us here as well, if possible, to escape the baking heat but we will have to see!

Keeping fingers crossed the pandemic won't come back with another variant and gather speed over summer/ autumn this year, and that people can travel and holiday and spend time with loved ones - where are you planning to go?

I think we've a hotel booked for Bratislava as well in August holidays plus £500 worth of train vouchers for Germany tour still to use sometime.

Yes! I'm just getting used to being a single parent and I've booked us in with a firm who just run camping holidays for single parent families. With activities etc.
It feels really empowering and I'm delighted that I'll have other adults to hang out with! So lovely to have something to look forward to.

Nothing at all, not even a day trip is planned atm.
Dh's job makes planning things really difficult, he was supposed to have a week off this month but he now has to work away (they changed it at very short notice too).

We want to take the VW campervan to Spain in the summer for a few weeks. Probably will.

Northumberland and Turkey are booked.

A weekend in Nov and probably Dec too.

Egypt in August.
Create in October

Lanzarote booked for early June.
Hoping to go to the Caribbean later this year but not booked yet.

Crete

Camping for long weekend in Scotland, May time. Staying in a holiday home/b+b in Cornwall or Wales for a week in June.
September, Greece or Spain for 10 days, fingers crossed.

We have just booked a very belated honeymoon to a beautiful adults only resort in Lanzarote in March. Fifth time lucky!

BIL getting married in Tuscany in June (🤞🤞) so we'll make a holiday out of that.

Hoping to do a bit of a road trip in Ireland in September.

Jamaica in October. Diet starts now, ha ha.

We have two 'hangover holidays'....holidays that were booked way before the pandemic and are still lingering around, so fingers crossed Devon at Easter and Greece in May.

After that, I relish the thought of just thinking....where do we fancy going? Spontaneity has been lacking the past couple of years.

We've got 3 cottages booked on a holiday park for a bankholiday weekend with SIL & her dc X2 and PIL. Thankfully both of their dull as dishwasher husbands arent coming so it should be really fun.

Summer holiday booked at the holiday park we went to last year. Self catering cottage by the beach with pool, soft play, creative workshop, crazy golf, pony rides, cinema, bowling etc etc.

Much rescheduled weekend in the Lakes in March. Then really hoping to go to Costa Rica in April. Plus Lots of camping in UK. This is our last year before DD gets to compulsory school age so need to take advantage to

A week on the south coast and Center Parcs in summer hols and Isle of Wight holiday cottage over October half term.

Trying to bite the bullet to book somewhere abroad but I’m worried the uncertainty will ruin the anticipation. I’d love some sunshine this year!

Galloping across exmoor in the spring. Some kind of adventure/riding holiday in the summer. Not sure where yet.

Making up for lost time! Plus all were v cheap because of uncertainty I guess.

Nothing at all yet which is very unlike me. Planning was put on hold until we see what DS (suffering with chronic fatigue) can cope with but hoping to explore some of the Eastern European countries in the Summer.

Well I have a 12 year old who Im unsure about getting double vaxxed so that pretty much counts us out of abroad 😭
