Another Bloody Downing Street party

So hours after telling us to only meet one other person outside from a different household 100 invited to Downing Street BYO in the garden.

It was unlawful to mix outside. If my employer had invited 100 staff to a garden party we’d have all been arrested.

I suspect there is, even more, to come out. I do not think this is the last of the revelations.

Historically he hasn't needed to, he has told lies and got away with it, why stop now ? There will be no significant consequences to him for his actions so why would he care ? The next couple of years are going to be interesting as Brexit issues settle, potential rises in interest rates, inflation etc , better to go out over a works do than have to suffer the death of a thousand cuts as the populations standard of living slips. I will put a tenner on it being another fall woman taking on the role, Truss did awfully good Christmas card this year

Since you do not appear to be sure, can I suggest you search out the recording of the Downing Street briefing from that very day given by the Culture Secretary and then let us know what he said about gathering outdoors.

Please could you also find what the Metropolitan Police tweeted about gathering outdoors on that day.

There is a lot of public anger at this. It is not going away.

I imagine there will be a lot of squirrels in the coming week. It's weird how stories ebb and flow, DH asked me yesterday what had happened in the Prince Andrew court case and I couldn't answer him even though it was all over the news just days ago.

Or maybe the next leak will be that Carrie turned their flat into a nightclub for MPs during the lockdown.

@Wrongkindofovercoat we are waiting for a judge to decide whether the agreement made between Virginia and Epstein when she sued him, also means that she cant sue Andrew. We have been waiting about a week. So there isn't much to say until the Judge comes back with his verdict.

I imagine the flat party will be in evidence soon 😄
