Another Bloody Downing Street party

JustJam4Tea · 10/01/2022 21:51

So hours after telling us to only meet one other person outside from a different household 100 invited to Downing Street BYO in the garden.

It was unlawful to mix outside. If my employer had invited 100 staff to a garden party we’d have all been arrested.

longwayoff
Really low, Clavinova

If you want to celebrate ohfourfoxache's post that's up to you - that's not my sort of language.

Alexandra2001 · 11/01/2022 21:43

@Clavinova please do keep repeating that line. It is good for people to hear that the Nasty Party want to move attention from breaking laws that they had recently introduced to the family of a child who died

Its straight out of the Trump/Bannon playbook...

Thething is he doesn't care one jot for his party. He only cares about himself and his ego

True, but it's terrible for him as an individual too.

Peregrina · 11/01/2022 21:45

He obviously knows about all the parties he went to.

On the contrary, he's probably been to so many that he barely remembers them but can hardly admit to this by asking which one.

I'll save my sympathy for the people who have really suffered under LD and Covid.

The thing is everyone who has worked closely with him says he is not very good at detail, so it is perfectly believable that he does not know if he was at a party in the garden of his house. Quite why anyone thinks such a person is suitable to be Prime Minister., but I am sure that @Clavinova will be along with another squirrel shortly.

The Independent reports that staff were asked to clean up their phones and delete anything that "looks bad".

Sue Gray appears to have quite a fix it reputation.

"Even when a document trail exists, Ms Gray is enthusiastic about keeping it a secret. We know that she advised special advisers on how to destroy email (by "double-deletion") to thwart FOIA requesters. She did not advise them on the requirements of the code on public record-keepingg_. We also know, via the Freedom of Information Act, that she kept no log of why, how or when she destroys documents (contrary to that guidance)."

Quite an interesting bit of background-

Johnson wouldn't have appointed Sue Gray if she was likely to find him guilty.
Bit like Lord Geidt and the refurbishment money.

To be clear, you do know that post was not sympathising with Johnson?

September 2020

A Labour frontbencher has apologised ‘profusely’ after she called coronavirus a ‘good crisis’ and warned party members not to let it ‘go to waste’.

Shadow education secretary Kate Green said she is ‘ashamed’ that people feel she was trying to make ‘political capital’ out of the pandemic.

Nice squirrel.

Notonthestairs · 11/01/2022 21:57

Still not commenting on the party?

Postdatedpandemic · 11/01/2022 21:59

Jolly gosh @Clavinova were there many labour front benchers at the 10 Downing Street party?

MagpiesStoleMyTreasure · 11/01/2022 21:59

@Clavinova

I don't know why you'd repeatedly post about a young boys death

Only twice I believe. I think it's reprehensible to swear and make up stuff about a young boy's death for political point scoring.

If you think it's reprehensible then why are you doing it?
Clavinova · 11/01/2022 21:59

I need more facts first.

Why don't you ask your dear leader for them then?

Oh... 😂😂😂

Would you agree that if in a hypothetical situation 30 people gathered in a garden on 20th May 2020 for a social they were breaking the law of the land at that time?

Jesus.

How much corruption does there have to be before people wake up and stop voting for these cretins?

It's astonishing that after the whole racist posters, Brexit bus lies, lying to the Queen, illegally shutting down Parliament, anybody thought "great idea, let's re-elect them!" 🤣 I mean, how stupid to you have to be?!

Clavinova · 11/01/2022 22:04

If you think it's reprehensible then why are you doing it?

I think it was you who condoned foul language and speculation from twitter, not me.

MagpiesStoleMyTreasure · 11/01/2022 22:04

@jgw1 honestly, did you see her posts on all the Brexit threads? There's no point arguing with her, she's totally delusional I'm afraid.

MagpiesStoleMyTreasure · 11/01/2022 22:05

I've done nothing of the sort. Care to back up that accusation?
MagpiesStoleMyTreasure · 11/01/2022 22:05

I don't ever use twitter and I've certainly used no "foul language". Is this another one of your fantasies?

Alexandra2001 · 11/01/2022 22:06

@Clavinova

Still not commenting on the party?

...but without all the facts you are happy to post and comment on absolutely anything that diverts from bojo's issues.... the primary one being an inability to tell the truth.

I think it is useful to engage our friendly visitor from Nasty Party HQ so that they keep repeating their nastiness as they have done on this thread about the family of a dead child.

AllThePogs · 11/01/2022 22:06

@clavinova is Liz Truss and I claim my £500
