What’s DH coming home with?

Troublesometooth · 09/01/2022 14:15

Sent DH to Aldi with a list of about £40 worth of food.

It’s just pinged on my banking app that he has spent £84! He will be home in ten minutes…

Any guesses what he is coming home with?

I’m going for some sort of middle aisle electric saw that will sit in the shed for the next 10 years unused!

2 of everything

TheVanguardSix · 09/01/2022 15:29

A cargo load of chocolate, a rice cooker, a Borat Mankini, several mini USB laptop fans with clock display, a B-tech Dyson bladeless fan called 'Tyson'. And a pair of sliders. Maybe a Lacura gift set if he's selfless enough to spare a thought for you.
Anyway, update us accordingly, OP.

Trellis, ear defenders, a socket set and a make-your-own gingerbread house kit.

AngelinaFibres · 09/01/2022 15:30

Wet suit.
Small pop up greenhouse.
BBQ tools and handy hanging rack.
Tool box

oldandscunnered · 09/01/2022 15:30

He's bought batteries, bin bags, extra toilet rolls and a set of adult waterproofs.

HeyUpits2022 · 09/01/2022 15:31

@BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz

How far away is your Aldi? He went through the til over an hour ago!
I imagine OP is shaking her head in disbelief and repeating "but why ?" at her husband.
RagzReturnedUnwrapped · 09/01/2022 15:31

@scaredsadandstuck

Drill bits, 1000 piece Harry potter jigsaw puzzle, and a plug in heated single slipper boot thing!
I love my heated foot warmer! DH bought it for me, from Lidl, years ago.
AngelinaFibres · 09/01/2022 15:32

One of those stands that cured ham sits on and a set of knives for 'performance carving' of the ham.

Inastatus · 09/01/2022 15:33

Come on OP, I’m intrigued!

AngelinaFibres · 09/01/2022 15:33

I bought a whole box hedge from Lidl once. 30ft long. Still looks beautiful 15 years later. SmileSmile

Electriq · 09/01/2022 15:34

Oh, I do this nearly every time I go in Aldi.

Joining those waiting..

KTB19 · 09/01/2022 15:35

I love Aldi and I am guilty of coming out of the store with stuff. Admittedly it is stuff I use - well, except for the Harmonica and Scrabble set.

One time they had a washing machine, a garden setting, a leaf blower, trombone and a ukulele.

iklboo · 09/01/2022 15:36

Car ramps, his n hers cagoules, an air fryer and a copper frying pan.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 09/01/2022 15:37

I don't know but I quite fancy a leaf blower

AngelinaFibres · 09/01/2022 15:38

I really really wanted a hanging egg chair. Never managed to get one

Peridot1 · 09/01/2022 15:38

He’s either under the patio or been sent back to return stuff…..

FangsForTheMemory · 09/01/2022 15:38

A rug kit and a board on wheels for moving furniture.

CheshireKitten123 · 09/01/2022 15:38

What is it with all the air fryers?
Is this the latest Must Have kitchen accessory ? Confused

WiddlinDiddlin · 09/01/2022 15:39

Pressure washer, kayak, three massive bags of crisps and a bottle of wine.

Orchidflower1 · 09/01/2022 15:40

Ok @Troublesometooth please put us out of middle isle misery and tell us what he dragged back!!

Middleagedfemaleangst · 09/01/2022 15:40

Placemarking for the answer

BarefootHippieChick · 09/01/2022 15:40

Presumably OP hasn't returned because she's currently frog marching her husband back to the store for a refund

WotsitMum · 09/01/2022 15:41

A defrosted food shop by the sounds of things😂

HollowTalk · 09/01/2022 15:42

Another one placemarking...

Vapeyvapevape · 09/01/2022 15:43

I'm sure I saw a mig welder in there, maybe op is using it to build a cage for him.
