Lovey.
I call my cat that even though she has a different official name, because she's the most loving cat I ever had.

I also like George.

If I ever have a white pet I'll call them Snowball.

Paul (a spaniel)
Baby Jesus(a huge German shepherd)

My first pair of Irish Wolfhounds were Margot(Fonteyn) and Rudolph (Nureyev) perfect I thought for these tall graceful!! beasts.

They were very tall.

I think it was someone well known who called their dog Phydeaux (pronounced Fido), which is quite lovely.

Our late NDN had a beautiful black labrador, who the DC liked but his name rhymed with Rambo. We called him Sam.
