My mums dog was called sorry and I had a lovely little staff she was called Dave she such a sweetheart

Back in the day people would laugh out loud when they knew my dog’s name was Ralph. A few years later I had a Doberman called Boss and an Afghan hound called Star. If I have another Doberman I shall call him Arnold.

I've known a cat and a dog each called Richard. Both suited it.

My dog is called Muttley - people always say they love his name :-)

Not a dog but when my grandad was younger, there was a cat across the road from him called Cooking Fat.

He was called that because they couldn’t register his real name Fooking Cat

I once looked after a dog called Frank. Gorgeous black mixed breed. His owners named him frank as they said they all had dog names so the dog needed a human name! Think Sam, Ben etc
