“Glamour” for a rather showy German Shepherd Dog (she was beautiful to be fair!)

I know a dog called dunno. He's beautiful and everybody always asks his name and ends up looking very confused

Stompythedinosaur · 06/01/2022 11:56

My favourite is a spaniel I know called Colin. I like human names.

Daniel the spaniel

whippetwoman · 06/01/2022 12:03

Our latest is called Wilson. He was playing with a spaniel the other day called Gary. Wilson was nearly a Colin but I was over-ruled. The fools.

shouldistop · 06/01/2022 12:03

Diesel - a black doodle type dog.

Grin

If ours had been a male cocker, I would have called him Jarvis as in Jarvis the Cocker Spaniel. In fact I think Jarvis is a cool dog name full stop. We've got a Maggie and it suits her.

In the garden 2doors down from me, I heard a dog with a raspy deep bark, they had a hedge so couldn't see the dog, asked NDN about the dog, he said it was a pug called Ralph. The dog's bark sounded like he was calling his own name, I often wondered whether he was named after his bark!

girlmom21 · 06/01/2022 12:10

My boy was from a litter of three called Tom, Dick and Harry.

I believe Dick got a name change Grin

EishetChayil · 06/01/2022 12:11

Barclay

RuggerHug · 06/01/2022 12:11

Chief. Until they found he was a she so renamed Miss Chief (pronounced mischief)

autumncrisp · 06/01/2022 12:11

Not a dog but my friend had a cat who came to her and never left. She named him Trevor. She had Trevor for 2 years then he had kittens 😂

Giggorata · 06/01/2022 12:12

A handsome rescue collie type mongrel called Trollop. That was fun to call out. He was a boy, too.

Friends had a much loved elderly lab called Dubious, because they weren't sure if they could do with having a dog at first.

ChiefAdjusterOfRubensShorts · 06/01/2022 12:12

Tripod!

Yes he only had three legs!

cherrypie66 · 06/01/2022 12:14
