I have a Siamese Fighting Fish called Jurgen and a couple of goldfish called Diogo and Little Mo. That makes my position on sport pretty clear!

I was travelling by train in Poland years ago and there was a family in my carriage with a small dog that they kept calling "Hodge". I thought that was a cute name until someone told me it wasn't the dog's name it was Polish for "come here" (spelled Chodz).

When I was younger I knew someone with two dogs called Roxy and Ferry … that places me very definitely in the 80’s 😁

I follow two dogs on Facebook, an English bully called Piglet and her sidekick Grumble, a British bulldog. Both completely gorgeous and really suit their names!

Briggs, a yellow Labrador from years ago. It was actually his owner-family name but it suited him so I called him Briggs from then on. An older lady Labrador in the same household was Mrs. Briggs. I never found out their actual names.
