Monthly massages and I go out by myself for lunch when I can (pretty much monthly and often after the massage now but it used to be weekly before Covid). I never get time to myself at home anymore so I find it the easiest way to unwind.

Flowers, gym membership, art materials.

I have a shoe horn (and a spare!) … for some reason this always strikes me as a luxury as my parents didn’t have one, I’ve never seen one in anyone else’s house and it’s just for my personal convenience.

Nice cars, both of us get a new one every couple of years.
Brows done every 4 weeks, hair every 8 weeks.
Guitars, we both play and gear acquisition syndrome (GAS!!) is real.
However, I'm quite happy in primark jeans to pay for the above Grin

evtheria · 03/01/2022 19:46

I don’t get these every month, they’re repeat-buys if I have treat ££

  • Lush ‘unlucky for dirt’ soap bar, it’s rose & oregano and the scent lingers for quite a while
  • Montezuma hippiccino chocolate bar (milk choc and coffee bits!)
  • lash lift
  • The Simple Things magazine
WhatDidISayAlan · 03/01/2022 19:50

Aesop hand wash
Prawns
Tony’s chocolate
Rapha cycling kit.
Frighteningly expensive walking boots and clothes.

I can’t work out why I baulk at spending more than £50 on a pair of shoes or jeans yet happily spunk £300 on a pair of mountaineering boots or £200 on cycling bib tights without flinching.

2bazookas · 03/01/2022 19:54

Linen (clothes and bedclothes)
BIG towels
French soap
Books
Plants
Flowers
Wine
Fab fresh fish and seafood
