@redglobox

A really good quality planner. Expensive but I use it all day every day so it is nice to have something that feels good. Smile
Which planner do you have. I bought one online and it’s disappointing to say the least. Thin paper, smaller than indicated etc. I’d love a good quality one.
1positivity · 03/01/2022 21:29

Oh yes also in the market for a good planner!

I want one that is:
Week to view
Has a month planner at the start of each month
Preferably a tab for each month also
Somewhere for notes
2022 and 2023 year planner included
A5 at least if not a4

Not sure if that even exists!

Nsky · 03/01/2022 21:29

Agadorsparticus · 03/01/2022 22:09

Monthly hairdresser for my roots and my bean to cup coffee machine.

lorrainecleaver · 03/01/2022 22:22

Diptyque perfume and candles.
A very nice piano
1000 thread count bed linen
Cashmere clothing
Audi soft top.
Great hotels

But, I don't have a cleaner and rarely visit the hairdressers. Do my own nails and never drink takeout coffee so I figure it's even.

homealoneagain1 · 03/01/2022 22:56

Oh I love this thread.

Neom candies
Monthly manicure and pedicure
Eyebrow thread and tint

HighlandCowbag · 03/01/2022 23:03

My pony. Technically 2 but one is a family pony outgrown by the dcs but kept because no one could bare to part with him. But the big one is very much mine.

Nice coffee, kindle books and amazon music are my others. And nice bed linen.

Typing that makes me sound like a grown up.

Working part time
Clarins skin care
Mac make up
Magazine subscription
White Company bedding
Silk pyjamas
Cashmere socks

coodawoodashooda · 03/01/2022 23:13

I can't think of any.

EssexLioness · 03/01/2022 23:51

Audible
Les Mills subscription
Hideously expensive bedding (which feels like heaven)

Other than that, not much. I am quite minimalist by nature and don’t tend to have expensive tastes.

onlychildhamster · 03/01/2022 23:54

@coodawoodashooda you are a better woman than me! I was looking at my list and thinking is anything I do not a luxury! Department store make-up, £28-50 dress (from Boden/joules/Gudrun sjoden), Salon dyed hair (£100), contact lenses, synagogue membership, eating out twice a week, nice groceries (DH just spent £14 on caviar today; we went to Waitrose yesterday). Carry an expensive backpack

I mean our furniture is cheap , we don't have a car, we own a flat so it's not like we can spend lots on loft extensions/home improvements/lots of furniture (which is what the British middle class seem to spent lots on), we don't have cats and dogs (only a tiny hamster) so I suppose we save money on that front... I have a cheap phone and don't care about hotels- stay at premier Inn/budget hotels.

sofakingcool · 03/01/2022 23:55

I like nice bath stuff - salts, oils etc

I get flowers delivered once a month, but that's from a birthday present from DH. When the subscription runs out I'm going to carry it on though, I love it!

I don't drink, smoke or go mad with clothes shopping etc though

MondeoFan · 04/01/2022 00:03

Expensive tea bags
Expensive butter
Luxury hand wash
Magazine subscription
Luxury candle
Rituals toiletries

sofakingcool · 04/01/2022 00:08

@seekinglondonlife

It's only really now in my 40s I'm starting to enjoy paying a bit more for sonething that will give me some joy. Nice towels, Egyptian cotton bedding, food stuffs from Fortnum & Mason. Zero interest in clothes, hand bags and shoes, or stuff for the house. I also travel as much as possible.
Yes I'm exactly the same! Hit 40 a couple of years ago and suddenly started to realise that I deserve treats too
Lookingoutside · 04/01/2022 00:20

CheerfulCher

Not at all! Please do share.

Luxury is totally subjective.

Lookingoutside · 04/01/2022 00:25

@Wineandroses3

Dunelm do a towel which is made of cotton and blended with silk. About £40 for a bath sheet.

They are gorgeous.
