It's only really now in my 40s I'm starting to enjoy paying a bit more for sonething that will give me some joy. Nice towels, Egyptian cotton bedding, food stuffs from Fortnum & Mason. Zero interest in clothes, hand bags and shoes, or stuff for the house. I also travel as much as possible.

MaybeAMoaner · 03/01/2022 18:34

Full range of dermalogica skin care- pricy but it has transformed my skin.

Obvs Amazon prime with added music unlimited.

ASOS premier and I use it a lot

LibbyL92 · 03/01/2022 18:35

Nails every 3/4 weeks and Hair extensions maintained every 8.

Disney plus
Gym membership

These things make me happy!

devildeepbluesea · 03/01/2022 18:35

Les Mills On Demand + gym subscriptions
Audible - just one book per month, but I've had it for over 11 years so have several hundred books now, and am re-reading some.
Just starting with piano lessons. I was Grade 8 30 years ago, but have barely touched a piano since.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 03/01/2022 18:36

Cleaner
Nails
Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm
Spotify

IntermittentParps · 03/01/2022 18:39

Cleaner
Dermalogica moisturiser (a day one only; night moisturiser and all other skincare is Superdrug/Boots Naturals or whatever it's called)
Good-quality cashmere or wool jumpers for winter; so comforting and so much warmer than thin ones or man-made materials
Nice coffee beans
Good bread from local bakery at about £4 a pop

CMhater · 03/01/2022 18:42

Highlights and cut and blow-dry every 8 weeks.
A spritz of Dior 'Rose n Roses' whenever I feel like it.
A Lush or Bomb Cosmetics bath bomb whenever I'm near a store- a beautiful bath feels so luxurious.
Books- I read every night. It has to be a physical book though. I'm not a Kindle fan.

LadyNell · 03/01/2022 18:44

I like good skincare products and shower products, I do buy flowers every week with my shop at Aldi, dirt cheap so I can afford to, ditto candles. I like nice clothes but never spend a lot I trawl the sales for bargains

I wear make up but not expensive brands. I also like interiors magazines which I buy sometimes.

Never have nails done or hair very often it's long so it gets trimmed every couple of months I'm low maintenance

vickyc90 · 03/01/2022 18:45

A fast car and nice clothes for all of us. My DS wardrobe is mainly next (tho at 8 it's getting more expensive and branded Hmm). Before COVID a 5 star package holiday every year. We are both degree educated professionals working shifts so have the money and enjoy spending it

MuchTooTired · 03/01/2022 18:52

My relatively fast 4x4. He’s like driving a big comfy armchair, and I’m thrilled every trip out. I do need a big car (DTs and dogs x2, rural living which isn’t always gritted) but I don’t necessarily need this car but I love it and if we needed to cut back he's way down on the list of savings.

Buying paintings/jewellery/adding to my ridiculous China collection.

I’m not in to fashion/make up that sort of thing, so these are my little luxuries that are mainly just for me.

Clarins Blue Orchid Treatment Facial Oil

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 03/01/2022 19:00
