I’m on my own (with the dog Grin) for the next few days. Happy to bore you, the most excitement I’m going to get this Christmas is opening my work Secret Santa present. If you don’t count starting on oestrogen gel, that’s the other thing I’ve got lined up.
Please join me 🤗

My first thought on waking this morning was that I'd gotten through another Christmas day,my second thought was that I feel sick.
I've taken an anti-nausea tablet but it doesn't seem to be doing much. Fortunately my dog is happy lying on my bed snuggled in as close as he can and the dog walker is due tomorrow, so I don't feel too bad about it.

I'm planning on getting the backing on the next rug today so I can wrap it ready for when my son and his partner come for a visit as they're far too heavy to post.

@BuddhaAtSea,yes. It is very therapeutic rugging and I enjoy working with textiles in general. I bought myself a rugging technique book which arrived on Friday and it's beautiful and inspiring. I've already started a braided rug for my other son the colours of which are inspired by sunsets so my next task is the finish this whilst contemplating my next rug, which is definitely mine. I'm thinking about making a jute rug for my hallway but not sure that the texture of jute'll be very kind to my hands, so I'll either have to look for tools or change my plan

Wishing everyone a peaceful and enjoyable day.

Happy Boxing Day everyone. Wine Brew Cake

All of the crafts look great and far better than I could do but everyone needs something they can get lost in so I am going to enrol on an online course - I love learning new skills.

Happy Boxing day!

I started a new knitting project yesterday and going to continue that in a bit. I saved the final season of The Bridge to watch on iPlayer this weekend too, so looking forward to that.

We’re just back from an epic long walk, I washed the dog, I had some crumpets and a hot chocolate, I’m watching dinner date under a blanket.
I didn’t sleep very well, so I’m going to nap after all this food. If you haven’t watched Don’t look up, do, it’s soooo good!

Glad we must all be having a much better boxing day than Christmas day as not as reliant on each other today as its much quieter. I am enjoying today a bit so hope everyone else is too.

Yes my children came home this afternoon Smile so happy to have them back. Although my daughter yelled "I just want to give you a big squishy hug' and I stepped towards her beaming but of course she rang straight past me to hug the dog Xmas Grin
