Hmm. Tricky somuch going on with kids DH etc can barely think straight so maybe a five.

Thurlow · 23/12/2021 18:42

Barely! We moved house ten days ago, I've just managed to get the kids stockings sorted (hello B&M!) but we have no tree, a couple of sad decorations, and a LOT of boxes...

I know it's a good reason not to feel too Christmassy but I am occasionally feeling a bit shit about it.

TheLightSideOfTheMoon · 23/12/2021 18:42

Medium.

Waiting for a takeaway, might feel more Christmassy once I’ve eaten.

I’m all set. Need to do some food prep tomorrow but that’s it.

  1. The baileys I just had might have something to do with it Xmas Grin
thatsallineed · 23/12/2021 18:44

At the moment - after just having had my flu jab two hours ago and still needing to go into work tomorrow? And with the untidy state of the house with loads of things that still need doing?

About 3/10.

HolesInMySocks · 23/12/2021 18:44

SockFluffInTheBath · 23/12/2021 18:47

5 maybe? Finished work today, got the farm shop order in, my boy has Covid so no theatre tonight and no cooking for everyone.

cushioncovers · 23/12/2021 18:47
  1. First Xmas without my mum
MrsWorriedMother · 23/12/2021 18:47

Sorry but not Christmassy but really trying for the kids.
My mum is not well and I'm aware that this is going to be her last Christmas.

Nidan2Sandan · 23/12/2021 18:48

Worked late as was in court till gone 4PM, and we didnt win. Had no sleep last night as I had horrific stomach ache so am really tired and the kids keep arguing.

Xmas eve is my usual favourite day of the holidays so hoping that I pep up tomorrow.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 23/12/2021 18:48

I’m about a 3.

This time yesterday it was a 1, but I went to the ballet last night which has helped a bit!

Mamette · 23/12/2021 18:49

Nought but that’s because I am dreading all the cleaning and sorting I have to do tomorrow once I finish up at work. Once I am some way organised I will start to chill and (maybe) feel Christmassy.

FrownedUpon · 23/12/2021 18:49
  1. Not feeling it at all
drumandthebass · 23/12/2021 18:49

I feel the same this year. I'm normally or Christmas but am also struggling to get to 1.

Not really looking forward to panto tomorrow (oh no, I'm not) I was even hoping it was going to be cancelled.

I think this is largely down to peri menopause

MrsWorriedMother and cushioncovers Flowers

Interesting to read how everyone's doing. Going out seems to help, and I think not going anywhere much because of the pandemic isn't helping.

1 - can't wait for it to be over. I actually feel slightly better this evening, knowing it will all be over in 2 days! Can't wait for a fresh start on 1st January with spring coming along soon.

crackofdoom · 23/12/2021 18:56

About 2 or 3, but on the other hand I had an absolutely cracking solstice this year that was definitely a 10, so horses for courses.

Eastie77Returns · 23/12/2021 18:56

The kids excitement is the only ‘Christmassy’ vibe in this house.

I’m exhausted. It’s been a busy year with some highlights but a few major disappointments too.

No decorations or tree here. I’ve spent the day cleaning and tidying and the place still looks a tip.

Reaching for the Baileys and some chocolates shortly. Maybe that will help usher in the spirit of Christmas.

SaigonSaigon · 23/12/2021 18:58

Very low this year - maybe a 5. Way more than that usually. Trying for the kids though. Just not feeling it at all

User1055 · 23/12/2021 18:58

1, at best!
