Supposed to be going to sleep, but as per usual am wasting time, for some reason unbeknown reason to, I like to avoid sleep 🙄

Anyone else awake (and why😁)?

Feeling anxious. We have a 10 month old dog that we are struggling to train and I'm finding it hard. I keep trying but everyday is stressful. We want to keep him but it's hard getting jumped on/bit (mouthing) everyday. We have been training him since day one but seen little progress. We have spent thousands of pounds on him. I feel sick everyday

Coughing woke me up now can't sleep. Scrolling through Mumsnet to pass the time. Got to wake up in 2 hours not sure if sleep will come back.

Up to feed my 3 week old. He’s now asleep but will wake again in 10 mins wanting the other boob so just hanging out reading mumsnet! I’m normally a perfect sleeper, fairly rare that I see 4am but how times change.

Hope those who need a restful night are getting one!

I woke up an hour ago and can’t get back to sleep. I was looking forward to a full night after DH had two hospital appointments, including removal of a patch of suspected skin cancer. He’s been through a terrible time and I was relieved that the day was over when I went to bed. I’m having a cup of Earl Grey and I’ll try and get back to sleep.

I woke at 1 again, just as per my post two days ago, saw the drug I'm meant to take every night at ten pm still sitting by my bed. It's a maintenance drug for ovarian cancer, I have to report a missed dose to the oncology team. Can't take it more than an hour after the scheduled time. I've never forgotten before. Had a bit of a panic, but have calmed down; I hope it's not too big a deal.

Hello everyone, I'm awake because I have a really rubbish sleep pattern. I'm going through a lot of stress at home and I have group work to do at uni which I'm having to do by myself, and I think the pressure of that is affecting me too.

So I'm making candles for Xmas presents and writing a PowerPoint presentation. As you do Grin

Have been awake since 2:45. Am working away from home and DH had to take dog to vets yesterday. Ended up PTS. This was an unexpected and rapid decline. DH and DD6 are broken and I'm not there to cuddle them. Feeling so guilty and sad and far from home.

I went to bed at my usual time and I’ve been awake since just shy of 2am, tried all my usual tricks and it hasn’t worked today. We do have a very big day today, so I knew my sleep wouldn’t be great.

Obviously know I have to get up I feel like I could go to sleep.

So I’ll be fueled by caffiene and adrenaline today.

I’m still awake - have finished work for Christmas so have got into the habit of watching Grey’s Anatomy which is on 20 til midnight. Now not tired so browsing MN and half watching Naked Attraction.

Awake again. Had to move into a Travelodge as my bathroom ceiling has collapsed and it might contain asbestos so I'm worried about my DS7 breathing in all that crap.

I went to be early but woke up two hours ago. I've got the end of a cold that keeps waking me up with temperature spikes as I fight the last of it off, and on top of that my lady parts are itching like crazy and none of my usual solutions are helping in the slightest, it's driving me nuts and there doesn't seem to be any point trying to sleep until it's stopped, which it doesn't seem like it's ever going to do. Sad
