I thought MPs were't allowed maternity leave so why should he be allowed paternity leave?

You don't think Boris Johnson is a cynic? Difficult to be hearts and flowers about someone like him. And let's face it, she married him, absolutely knowing what he's like (as does the rest of the country) so difficult not to be cynical about her too.

Hope mother and baby are well but don't see why it's something to celebrate for the rest of us. Don't think anyone should be having seven children.

Someone I knew was best friends to one of his daughters. She was reportedly very embarrassed by him. And that was before Carrie.

I don’t think Carrie is a surrendered wife so I doubt she would have consented to a C section to take the heat off Bojo.

She'd hardly have to be a surrendered wife in that situation. Being married to the PM gives her significant political influence, that's not going to last once he's out because she's very unpopular amongst many of his colleagues. Any distraction technique would be in her interests too.

This is not to say she did have an ELCS of course, sometimes coincidence is just coincidence. Only that if she did, she'd stand to benefit politically from it too.

None of his children attended his recent wedding in Westminster Cathedral. Of course 'Covid restrictions' (he's such a stickler for those) was given as the reason for their non-attendance, which helped him save face I'm sure.

She is going to be a single mother in a years time.who wants to bring up a child with a clown.I feel very sorry for both children.they too will grow up with a checkbook father.Disgusting,how people in power can get away with this.If BJ and CJ lived in a council estate,the rightwing papers would have a field day!
