I love the crazy conspiracy theories. So my favourite ones are that birds arent real and that Paul McCartney is dead and the man we see now is a lookalike.
What about you?

We have some doozies here in the US. My favorite recent one was the JFK, Jr. is still alive, and that he would be appearing in Dallas, Tx on November 2, and would see Trump reinstated as President, with JFK, Jr. as his vice-President. When that did not happen, it was widely broadcast that he would actually shortly appear at a Rolling Stones concert. Well...they do need a new drummer, but Mick Jagger is getting too old for these shenanigans (and spandex, but that's another post).

My favourite is the Michael Jackson isn't really dead one, not that I believe it but it's just so fascinating!

@Pieceofpurplesky

Flixborough was an explosion in the 70s that killed many people. Some people believed it was to do with the Cold War rather than an accident (I think)

My dad was a fireman and nearly lost his life putting this out. I wasn't born until 1981 though so it was before my time but still gives me goosebumps thinking about it.

Bit sick, but completely ridiculous. AIDS was man made to cull gay people because of population control. If that was true, then surely gay men are the last people to target.
Another popular one was Michael Jackson faked his death to clear his debts.

However, I do think the Kurt Cobain being murdered sounds plausible

The Mandela effect is my favourite. You never have to lose an argument because if you are proved wrong, you can blame it on the Mandela effect changing things. Meaning that you were actually right all along, and the other person is just more easily influenced than you.Wink

Now I’m one of those who absolutely is sure the film was ‘Interview with THE Vampire’ the cartoons were called ‘Looney TOONS’ and it was ‘Sex IN the city’ but I guess I switched dimensions somehow. 😉

Oh yes, Faul is definitely a favourite of mine. Mainly because I remember my older brother was a huge Beatles fan and I used to join in and read the album covers. I remember really not liking some of the later stuff because Paul (previously my favourite) didn’t look like cuter early Paul. I was too young to have heard any of the rumours.

That Queen Elizabeth 1 died and to cover it up she was replaced by a man pretending to be her.

I believe the Paul McCartney one and call his replacement Paul McCorny. He's just not quite the same.

I won't lie though, I have poor judgment for this stuff. I'm still waiting on Tupac Shakur (2pac) coming back after he faked his death. All the clues said 7 years and its been about 27 now!

The flat earth thing that I really don't get is why?! What benefit is it to anybody to pretend the earth isn't flat if it actually is? And it'd need to involve soooo many people, pilots, sailors, astronomers, just hundreds of thousands of people. Why would they all bother, what is to be achieved by people not knowing the earth is actually flat? I asked someone once, they told me to do my own research. I still don't know

The covid vaccine contains chips that are tracking us.

That one makes me laugh...99.9% of the time it would be boring as fuck tracking millions of the population, I'm not sure the government are remotely interested in their school runs and trips to Tesco..

Subterranean life. Ds was / is quite inti this. It's so batshit but ds is so animated when talking about here and on Mars.

I know its batshit. It's like the newest king Kong movie. But he total reals me in. I'm almost "he has a point here...." until I'm snapped back into reality 🤣

Flixborough was an industrial disaster that some people think happened before it actually did - including Reg Presley of the Troggs

I rhonk the Finland one is supposed to be satire. But I'm pretty sure flat Earth started out as a joke, and now some really dodgy people spout it. Lots of flst earthers are also massive anti-Semites.

That there is a man in a place called heaven and if you pay to believe in him you too can get to heaven and live with all the other good dead people when you die.
It's amazing how much money the preachers of this conspiracy have made.

This is exactly how I feel!! I asked on here once and a flat earther called me one of the sheeple, told me to 'open your eyes' and said I should do my own research and it's easy to find...
So where is it?! What's the end game? Why would every world leader be facilitating such a vast hoax?!

My very favourite is that the reason we clapped for the NHS every Thursday at 8 pm was not actually for the NHS but because the government were testing 5G and it made a buzzing sound which people would worry about. Therefore they tested it at 8 pm on a Thursday and because we were all clapping, no one could hear the buzzing.
