I have a degree in English literature but I bloody love those cheesey Christmas books that you can buy at supermarkets.

Love cheesy Christmas movies also.

(I'm also Jewish, but my Christmas love is real. DH takes the piss bigtime) It might be because I did not celebrate christmas at all until I met DH. What a wonderful festival! Bloody loved going to Lapland to see Santa as well.

I listen to Jilly Cooper novels on Audible while dog walking.

I look at the Mail Online most days (I don't agree with pretty much anything they write but I like the gossip)

Another fan of Jilly Coooper here. I also watch teenage stuff - Gilmore Girls, Heartland etc.despite being a doctor in my 60s. It is a light relief from working!

Using Mumsnet. I’d never tell anyone in real life and be really embarrassed if anyone knew!

I will eat a packet of 6 cheese strings in one sitting. I'm not even secretly ashamed.

Just the amount I eat of things. Can't touch a packet of biscuits without eating 2/3 of the pack. Ditto cake. No one would ever know

I’m a Serious Novelist but my favourite books to read are of the genre Cosy Christmas Village Times at the Whimsical Library Bakery, with a pink-purple watercolour illustrated cover and the title in looping writing.

I eat a whole pack of jaffa cakes in one go,I also google the same 3 celebrity women to see what they are upto and have done for years,I would feel really embarrassed if dh or anyone seen the history plus it's quite pathetic and I would like to focus on my own life rather than others haha

When DH goes out for an evening I watch back to back programmes on ID, that awful channel full of American ‘documentaries’ about true crime. Usually involving the unfortunate demise of a hairdresser called Wanda from the deep south who ended up in a swamp. And it was ALWAYS the most obvious suspect who did it and we’re supposed to be shocked at the end. Then I change the channel before switching off so he doesn’t know what I was last watching

Another one whose secret shame is all the bodice rippers I read on my Kindle.

I used read all the latest Booker calibre lit fic, now it's more likely to have the word Duke in the title rather than have won any prizes.

We don’t have a tree though or do presents unless it coincides w Chanukah!
DCs went to non-Jewish primary school so we def got more caught up in the xmas magic!!
I eat the odd prawn although draw line at bacon 😆

Clever. DH has insomnia and I always know when he went to bed because of the channel.

I have a great deal of knowledge about jewellery and can identify in a split second age and gemstone and if something is real or not. Last week I discovered the starter tiara thread in style and beauty and lost hours

Oh yes!! Pesach and Purim are my favourite Jewish festivals (again- the drinking.... ) but I seriously have no idea why I waited 30 years to get into Christmas. Life can be hard. Let's party!

I definitely do not draw the line at bacon! (Can't be doing with pork though, It smells funny).

I tell everyone that I don't have a sweet tooth and always refuse cakes and biscuits. The truth is that I stuff sweets and biscuits when I'm at home an no one knows teehee!!

Also I love any medical related show be it fact or fiction!!
Dh draws the line at Casualty whereas I’m there for GPs Behind Closed Doors, Doctors and any A&E programme going 😆

On my wfh days I have naps with the laptop next to me in bed on loud just in case anyone calls.

I still get all my work done so I don't give a fuck!

I read trashy American crime novels and love any shows like csi, bones, etc. I love cheesy Christmas movies (princess switch anyone?! ). I’m still in pjs even though it’s 2pm.

I own a ridiculous amount of dolls houses and dolls and get enormous pleasure out of modifying them, or better still ageing them and making them grungy.

I have written fan fiction.

I love watching the snooker and have been doing so since the black and white Pot Black days.

My current evening guilty pleasure is American firefighter shows. I've done all the Station 19, 9-1-1, and 9-1-1 Lone Star available on Disney+ and now onto Chicago Fire.

DH phones me and asks if I'm watching half naked Firefighters again
(He weekly commutes)
