Please can you suggest some to me please? Interested in all sorts of topics…

And also - (sorry I’m very new to this) - how/what device do you use to listen to them?
I’m doing some long walks and don’t really like audiobooks. Like the idea of being able to listen both at home and while out
Thank you

I love listening to Rumble - it's a podcast by Michael Moore, the American journalist and film-maker. Obviously American -centric, but I love how he fights against injustices, e.g the tainted drinking-water scandal in Flint, Michigan.

During the last Presidential election he was able to rant for a whole year about Donald Trump whom he despises with a passion!

@Trillian2000

Some great podcasts on BBC sounds already listed but I love Bad People and My Secret Teenage Diary.

On Spotify I listen to The Adam Buxton Podcast. Great chats with other celebrities.

Oh yes! Chris Packham's My Secret Teenage Diary is excellent.

Beautiful/anonymous is such a good concept but the presenters voice is SO BLOODY annoying. What a disappointment.

I've listened to some good series recently too.

Welcome to your Fantasy is about The Chippendales in the 80's a wild and tragic story, really interesting.

Chasing Cosby - Huge trigger warning obviously, what a bastard.

Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen - True life is so much more interesting than fiction.

The Dark Side of - Don't be put off by the narrator's annoying voices! Its a really interesting anthology series every episde focusing on something different. The first series is about Hollywood film industry, the second about the music industry.

I know!! I keep thinking I'd like to hear a British version of this as I might find it more relatable. The same with They walk among us - it's brilliantly researched and meticulously produced but his voice is so monotonous and charmless that I cant keep listening.

I've just started What's upset you now? as recommended unthread but I genuinely can't tell Seann and Paul's voices apart! Which is proving tricky.

Home Front an epic fictional story of different people and families and places during WW1 from the start of the war until the end. The story is told from the perspective of those left at home in Folkestone, Tynemouth and Devon. This is my favourite ever podcast and I'm currently on my 3rd listen. It's very long! I've learned so much about the lives of people then.

Triggernometry good because they let the guests talk without interrupting and good because they have guests whose opinions they disagree with

Yes! Home Front is brilliant isn't it?

Take a look at Sky Storycasts - Some great real life documentaries about Amy Winehouse, Russian spies / the litvinenko affair - they are brilliant

British Scandal is my absolute favourite at the moment. I particularly liked the Canoe Con.

For The Many is great for current affairs in a relaxed non confrontational context.
