Policeman kicks 15 year old girl in the stomach

I couldn't see a thread about this so thought I'd start one.

I am completely shocked at this video.

This "officer" came out of nowhere and did a flying kick to a young girl!!

Now I can understand police getting a it violent in the heat of the moment but this? This is outright disgusting.

That officer should be charged.

What the fuck has happened to our police force??

@Uncurtailed you cannot be fucking serious

There were already 2 coppers dealing with the girl on the ground

The tosser copper USED EXCESSIVE FORCE in dealing with the friend. All he needed to do was restrain her arms in line with training and guidance - instead he went in violently

hamstersarse · 01/10/2021 11:28

At what point did she try to hit him on the head? All I saw was her trying to pull the first officers arm away from her friend. She wasn't even being particularly aggressive about that either.

What do you class as aggressive then @knittingaddict?

Is it because they were female that you don't see them as a danger?

That is a very confusing message for police who are told to treat women as equals to men?

Would they be sexist if they didn't ever see women as a huge threat?

Leibham · 01/10/2021 11:28

@hamstersarse

Of course I can.

15 year old drunk girls.

It’s very scary the level of protection police have when carrying out sickening violence.

The second girl did need to be pulled away and perhaps handcuffed but there’s no excuse for his actions and violence. It was extreme and disproportionate.

Would you be OK with that action if the 'suspects' were male?

ohfourfoxache · 01/10/2021 11:29

@JasonMomoasgirlfriend the difference is that the girl was not trying to escape

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:29

He kicks her on her left side abdomen and pelvis. Not her thigh and not kicking her legs out from under her Hmm

Leibham · 01/10/2021 11:30

@hamstersarse

Oh my god, you did not just pull the equality card for the sake of violence did you?

ohfourfoxache · 01/10/2021 11:30

@hamstersarse that’s a fair point

That level of violence isn’t acceptable whether the victim is male or female

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:30

Why are people falling over themselves to lie for the police when the evidence is right there infront of them? Confused It’s so bizarre.

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 01/10/2021 11:30

@MrsRobbieHart

It's not. He clearly kicks her thigh.

Nope. Watch it properly.

Here you go. It's actually note like her hip/bum since she is turned to the side.

knittingaddict · 01/10/2021 11:30

It was clearly much higher than her thigh. He kicked her on the side at waist /stomach level. Did you people who say it was her thigh freeze frame the video? I can assure you that it's not her thigh.

GreatPotato · 01/10/2021 11:31

A ccording to a number of threads here today the first girl was right to resist arrest until there were two officers present. How exactly was she supposed to do that?

And blimey I know teachers better trained in restraint than that!

That's before we get onto the kick.

Leibham · 01/10/2021 11:31

@hamstersarse

Yea, even if they were male and adult I would say the same. Though of course if they were male and strong no doubt they could have given real resistance to the police, not rolling around avoiding handcuffs.

You disgust me

They aren't. you are just looking to see what you want to see.
WhiskeyNeverStartsToTasteNice · 01/10/2021 11:31

The policeman kicking the girl is clearly unacceptable. But who is the complete and utter arsehole standing there filming it and giving a running commentary? Unbelievable.

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:32

So what I said then. Left side abdomen and pelvis. Not her thigh, not her legs being kicked out from under her. Thanks for confirming.

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:33

They aren't. you are just looking to see what you want to see.

I’m just reading the false comments.

Mintyt · 01/10/2021 11:33

He did not come out of nowhere. He was called to help a colleague

ohfourfoxache · 01/10/2021 11:33

Just putting it out there…

What if the victim was pregnant? He could have potentially been responsible for a miscarriage

The guidance is there for a reason. He did not comply with restraint guidance. Therefore what he did was unacceptable.

Leibham · 01/10/2021 11:33

@MrsRobbieHart

I know! I’m rubbing my eyes in disbelief!

I mean by all means if police need to genuinely defend themselves in extreme circumstances then fine but this is unreal.

He sounds like a total idiot. But at least he had the sense to film it.
ohfourfoxache · 01/10/2021 11:34

@MrsRobbieHart totally agree

knittingaddict · 01/10/2021 11:35

What do you class as aggressive then @knittingaddict?

She was pulling his hand/arm away from her friend. She was drunk, but didn't hit, kick or punch anyone. I call that behaviour ill advised and silly, not aggressive or dangerous. It could have been dealt with so much better by the last policeman.

Leibham · 01/10/2021 11:35

Yes glad he filmed it, if he had have intervened god knows what would happen to him.

Police need to be filmed for it to be believed.

DietCokeChipsAndMayo · 01/10/2021 11:36

Wow
For a site full of women and mothers I can not believe the amount of posts saying this amount of force was justified!
I bet you would all be saying very different if that was your child being drop kicked in the stomach by a full grown man!
Wow
