Policeman kicks 15 year old girl in the stomach

GreekTragedy · 01/10/2021 09:58

I couldn't see a thread about this so thought I'd start one.

I am completely shocked at this video.

This "officer" came out of nowhere and did a flying kick to a young girl!!

Now I can understand police getting a it violent in the heat of the moment but this? This is outright disgusting.

That officer should be charged.

What the fuck has happened to our police force??

hamstersarse well that's not in question is it?

Whats in question is how adult trained police officers deal with lairy drunken children.

MobyDicksTinyCanoe · 01/10/2021 11:53

Leibham for a good while before that he was trying to cuff her standing up. That was his last resort. The full video is around five minutes long so doesnt give the full picture

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:54

If you’re talking about me @JasonMomoasgirlfriend I said abdomen. Not stomach. Which it is. And actually in my first post that you argued with I didn’t even say abdomen, I said that it was a lie that he kicked her legs out from under her. Which of course was accurate, as the video shows. He did not kick her legs out from under her. So no utter bollocks.

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:55

I don't care what you are, frankly.

Again, mortally offended. Grin (but I think you do a wee bit Wink)

tellmewhentheLangshiplandscoz · 01/10/2021 11:56

@MrsRobbieHart

The police are looking after us all from people like her.

😂😂😂😂

Yes, the policeman had no choice but to kick the very dangerous small, wobbly, drunk 15 year old girl to the ground. He really has saved lives with that move. Hmm

Quite.

I wonder if his approach would have been the same on a 6ft strapping bloke. Confused

RIPIgglePiggle · 01/10/2021 11:56

@MrsRobbieHart

It is a partnership and people should be taught not to resist arrest.

Resisting arrest by a lone police officer is now being advised.

Kit Malthouse is an utter moron though.

The young girl would have been arrested or restrained and invited for interview at a later date. She is committing offences there. However the use of force from the camera angle seen there appears really inappropriate. It will be investigated by the IOPC and dealt with quite rightly.

Not everyone is cut out for policing. In fact very few people are cut out for it. Trying to recruit 20,000 officers in one go after years of cuts is a bloody nightmare actually for that reason but that’s a different topic altogether

GeidiPrimes · 01/10/2021 11:57

Those stating he kicked her in the legs - the kicker said he "only kicked her in the waist". So he's admitted it. Stop with the gaslighting please.

I was a bit grossed out by the commentary of the camera guy, it sounded sleazy.

NewYearNewTwatName · 01/10/2021 11:58

hamstersarse

Why would you think I hate the police? is just because I'm of the opinion they should operate within the law and their training? and not go off on?

CuckooCall · 01/10/2021 11:58

@Porfre

She doesnt have a sticker on her that days her age. From the footage you cant tell how old she is. And you dont know what the Offocer who kicked her saw. Literally before she was kicked she was attacking the other Police Officer's head. If I was her parent I'd be ashamed at how my child behaved and be down on them like a ton of bricks to make sure nothing like this happened again.

Shes lucky she in the UK if you call that Police brutality.

So if your 15 year old was playing up then you think the best way to deal with that situation would be to kick her in the stomach? Would you be happy for a teacher at your child's school to kick them in the stomach when they were misbehaving? What about your partner? Or is it just police who you feel should be allowed to kick children?
Samuraisammy · 01/10/2021 11:59

Wow isn’t that martial arts are something? Looks like he did it to ‘shock’ the girl and tumble her over. Which worked, but isn’t something a police officer should go around doing. Looks like it’s something he’s got away with doing for a while as he’s doing it very confidently!

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 11:59

I wonder if his approach would have been the same on a 6ft strapping bloke.

I’ve seen a few police arrests in person. (And many on those “cops on camera” shows) I’ve seen how they take down very large men. There is no fly kicking. Sometimes there are batons, or pepper spray or tasers. I’ve never seen fly kicking.

ILoveJamaica · 01/10/2021 11:59

Sorry, but she was in the wrong here. One woman was resisting arrest and the other was trying to manhandle the Officer. For all the Officers knew they could have weapons. I've been a Police Officer and my DH still is one. Unless you've done the job you have no idea how dangerous a situation like this is. You also don't know what the woman on the ground is being arrested for - she could have committed a serious crime.

Omg I hope you're not as difficult as this in real life.

Yawn

NewYearNewTwatName · 01/10/2021 12:02

she could have committed a serious crime

yeah underage drinking,

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 12:02

Sorry, but she was in the wrong here.

As was the police officer. It’s not a case of one was right and the other wrong. Both were doing the wrong thing.

One woman was resisting arrest

Girl.

I've been a Police Officer and my DH still is one

Is fly kicking an actual method you were trained in to remove an aggressive person from their victim?

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 12:03

Omg I hope you're not as difficult as this in real life.

Yawn

Why do you hope that? Are you worried you meet me IRL and get caught on a lie?

OhWhyNot · 01/10/2021 12:04

Too many police have always behaved this way

Just now they are more often than not filmed

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 01/10/2021 12:05

@MrsRobbieHart stop talking to me. I'm not interested in anything you have to say. Derailing thread now. Move on 🤦

SparryG · 01/10/2021 12:05

nothing has happened to the police force it is not a new problem. In all aspects of life there are people who behave badly and people who abuse power. Seems nieve and sheltered to be shocked by this imo!

Is there a way to block a poster?

MrsRobbieHart · 01/10/2021 12:07

No, you just stop tagging them if you don’t want them to respond to you.

Abi86 · 01/10/2021 12:08

Seems proportionate. Not sure what the West Indian dude was doing.

Conniethesensible · 01/10/2021 12:08

mortifying from all angles to be frank.

NewYearNewTwatName · 01/10/2021 12:09
