I'm surprised there are no threads on this, there were loads about ant mcpartlin.

I have no sympathy for drink/drug driving but it's so sad the way her life has turned out. I hope she can sort herself out.

I find the bankruptcy thing confusing. She has been 'going bankrupt' for years, yet prior to that she presented as a savvy business woman who managed her money - and her ability to make money - extremely well.

She can't be a good parent while she is has a Coke habit which is causing her to subject her dc to dv (didn't matter if they were in the house or not, they are still victims), break the law and put other people's lives at risk.

Doesn't matter to me if she is a terrible person or a saintly martyr, he behaviour renders her a bad parent and a risk to society.

I think most posters understand that she has issues and is obviously very unhappy. One can sympathise with her and the fact that she self medicates with alcohol and drugs. However, getting into a vehicle ( while banned) under the influence of alcohol and drugs whilst allegedly on the way to get more drugs is unforgivable. If she had killed or injured someone I don’t think any of us would feel sympathy for her. I actually like Katie, but she needs to be punished for committing a criminal offence . She needs to be jailed

She is 100% one of these 'celebrities' that tell the paps where they are. She can't cope with her diminishing 'career' and public interest in her. She has zero regard for anything else other than herself. I'm pretty sure her 'beloved' puppy was squashed to death in an armchair in her house or something.. these things as single offences, I could have some sympathy for her, but when you look at the big picture and all of the things she's done, she is a terrible mother and person and I hope they throw the book at her.

There are hundreds of thousands of people out there nursing a parent themselves, raising kids singlehandedly and generally having a shit time. Very few of them get ratarsed, snort coke and drive off into the sunset whilst already banned.

It's people making excuses for her over the last ten years thats got us to where we are today. "poor Katie her son is disabled", "poor Katie her husband cheated", "poor Katie her Mother is ill".

Absolutely. I’ve read through a few threads on here from posters who have, often whilst dealing with difficult personal circumstances, been charged with drunk driving or speeding. They are almost unanimously met with little sympathy, rightly so.

This person is no different.

Everyday day you see a story about Katie price... she's buying a horse...her house if Dirty...kids wearing makeup...decluttering dirty house on eBay blah blah blah. It's unfair on her. She's obviously having some sort of crisis and her heading out for drugs at 3am shows she's probably having a breakdown....not many addicts can admit anything..she did...

And?

Countless people are dealing with far worse that KP ever has, and ever will, but they don't engage in criminal behaviour. Repeatedly in her case.

Her mum's illness, Harvey, her kids, her car crash love life - all excuses and some of which are totally within her control. She makes choices, disastrous ones, so she must live with the consequences of her actions and take accountability for change.

@faithfulbird20 Katie price loves the media. They made her who she is. She has almost certainly worked with them during her more recent years of her diminishing fame. Only Katie price would post pictures of folic acid to grab the media's attention, then comes a story of her TTC, then comes the heightened pap attention trying to see if she has a bump or where they can spot her. She's no Princess Diana, sorry.

Oh don't be so naive. If you see a story about Katie Price it's became Katie Price has engineered that story. She hasn't been hounded by the media at all, she's courted it. That's her career! If there were no stories there would be no career. She does everything she can to remain in the papers and to stay 'relevant'.

KP is hardly in the same spotlight realm as Diana was.

I agree, the media often act like vultures, but KP goes to great lengths to keep herself in the media spotlight to enable her 'celebrity status'.

I find it ironic that someone who has manipulated and controlled the media in every aspect of her life for years is now pleading for space.

I don't think anyone is in any doubt that the woman has issues, I'd go for Body Dysmorphia off the bat, but enabling her rather than actually helping her has led her down this path.

There are millions of people struggling with similar or worse right now that don’t drink/drug drive whilst uninsured and banned ffs.

I mostly feel sorry for her children. Their Mother is an embarrassment and a total train wreck.

All my sympathies lie with her sick mother and those poor kids. I used to quite like KP but she’s had so so many chances at this point and fucked it up. She could have killed someone.

As for press intrusion, she makes a living off of staged papped photos of herself post surgery or having hair extensions or whatever nonsense she’s doing in Turkey despite being ‘bankrupt’. If you’re an influencer you can’t just turn the press attention on and off to suit you. Most coverage seems to be pretty sympathetic and unquestioning anyway.

I feel sorry for her. She has made bad decisions for years and is suffering the consequences now.

However, she is clearly a risk to all the other road users she encounters, and as such needs to be stopped from driving. Her arrogance in driving while banned is two fingers up to the justice system. Banning her again won't stop her when she next needs some more coke. I'm sure she's going to the Priory only for as long as it suits her, not for a serious attempt at drug rehabilitation.

I hope she gets some prison time, but also doubt it will actiually change her behaviour. If nothing else, it would keep her off the roads for a bit.

I think it's quite reasonable to think that she needs to receive a custodial sentence for this latest drink/drugs driving incident, while also feeling sorry for someone who feels the need to put themselves through horrendous plastic surgery so frequently, there's something very messed up going on there. Probably body dysmorphia as PP's have suggested.

If she was more stable, she could have hung onto her money, probably found a decent bloke, and be aging relatively graceful at this point (with a little help, of course, but not what she does to herself).

She’s a fucking nightmare; that could have been someone else that she drove her car into while pissed and coked up.
I don’t give a toss about her ‘demons’, she needs locking up.
