I think I'm team Duke of Hastings. All the other candidates seem to have drawbacks - although I grant you I haven't seen James Norton in anything.

I wonder whether the producers would be happy to cast any of the gay/bi actors on the list or whether they'd be scared that it would compromise their Chinese earnings. Casting an out gay actor or even a "don't ask don't tell" open secret actor as Bond would be a huge symbolic deal.

I don’t think they can be seen to have another white actor as Bond. So most of the suggested actors are ruled out.

Henry Golding swoon! Maybe an Aussie… unlikely but the other Hemsworth (Liam?) is sort of standard issue hot bloke. I can’t believe another Bond will be a white dude but I bet they stick to it, getting bland. Never mind it’s fiction anyway - they either have a dry series from here on in or make it more interesting

Bond needs to be early 30s I think, a bit posh. Must be the type men want to be and women want to be with. Action man type.

Tom Hiddleston is my favourite, he’d make a fabulous Bond. Wouldn’t complain about Tom Hardy or Richard Madden either.

I would love Tom Hardy as think he is gorgeous and has a bit of an edge to him. Not really a bond fan and don't like Daniel Craig as a person as does not come across well in interviews at all, seems a bit up his own arse to be honest.
