He didnt say so on the phone just said its with the decision maker, i wish they could give you more info x

@Hannm123 thank you he’s 11 and was diagnosed with ADHD and then some learning difficulties in school which usually comes along with adhd..fingers crossed x

Hi, been following both threads, my new claim form was scanned on the 23rd July, received a letter dated 9th Sep to say they haven’t given me a decision as yet, called yesterday morning to see if there was an update and was told to call back in another week, hope that helps with people waiting from the same date x

@JCM1989 aww I’m the same date as u and haven’t phoned for a week or so now gave up.. I seen a few people awarded the 22nd so was really hoping to hear something this week guess it’s another week then x

@Mummyof3boz I feel your pain , I have a 12 year old boy with adhd and asd..very hard work isn’t it..although he is a lot better and doing a lot better on his meds it’s just the asd side that causes the problems in school now , has yours got an ehc plan ? X

@Mummyof3boz would just rather know whether it’s a yes or no, however much longer they take from there I wouldn’t care, it’s the not knowing that’s driving me mad. I might give them another call today on the school run x

@Hannm123 round about same age then yeah it can be very challenging at times yeah I would agree he doing better on meds as I’ve been waiting for this diagnosis since 2018 was a backlog in Scotland plus Covid he had a play therapy but he hadn’t as yet he does get a lot on one to one teaching and is on different work to others in his glass the school r really good and they meet his needs so I hope if they have written anything it’s all about wot help he gets he will be going into 1st year next year that’s high school of ur from England sorry and I know they have already got his educational plan set up for when he moves on that was before diagnosed so I’m no sure if he can get that now or not.x

@Mummyof3boz ..yes very much like mine he has different work set for him than the others ..mine started high school last September and has been an absolute nightmare but has finally settled in now and school have been great putting lots of things in place for him ..if your intrigued my 12 year old gets Mrc & low mobility .I could probably do a change of circumstances now and he would be entitled to more but at the time I was happy with that x

Just got off the phone, I couldn’t wait until school run lol but the man I spoke to was very nice, said they are working on the date they received my form this week and will usually text with a decision once it’s made, then receive a letter usually around a week later x

@Mummyof3boz I’m going to ring tomorrow morning, they scanned mine the 21st July. The worst they can say to me is no but at least I’ll know instead of waiting for the letter.

Will apply again once I get more evidence it turned down despite my son clearly needing more care than a normal 4 year old.

@Hannm123 well that’s promising to know u get that for ur son and he sounds very much like mine I think I’m going to phone in morning and find out either way I suppose. I hope ur son is getting on well now I always feel it helps when the schools r good my sons last school was awful with him made him stand on his own got made to feel like he was a bed kid. He used to climb up trees to get away from the bullies and they would pull me in and say Lucas has been very bad today climbing up trees I wish I moved him schools years ago.. hope u hear soon to mrs x

@Skyechasemarshalontheway not dla but a PIP one, tribunal sent the letter to say it had been awarded and the money was in the bank less than a week later and a letter followed that by about 3 days.

I had asked earlier in the thread about NI waiting times as I'd applied on 14th June (I think) and rang last week to be told it had't been with a DM yet and would be mid October. Well I woke this morning to what looks like middle rate back money in my account so I am really pleased with that. But just shows that they tell you crap on the phone because my call was made Thursday I think and the money in today so must have been at least with the DM or already decided.

@BorisTheBellendPM ..I agree I don’t think they know where there up to half the time..they will tell you anything to fob you off on the phone and to avoid you ringing up again x

Morning well I bit the billet and phoned got through straight away but was pointless still no decision 😟 lady said 8-10 weeks for new claims x

Just phoned and spoke to a lovely lady. A decision was made on Monday & unfortunately we was declined. Heartbroken for my little boy.
